I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the Taste of Bardstown historical and tasting tour, and it was nothing short of fantastic! My husband and I were looking for a tour in the heart of Bardstown that was under four hours and did not require a vehicle. Our guides, Josh and Victoria, masterfully combined local history with flavors of Bardstown's renowned bourbon and food scene. The highlights of the one mile walking tour were the Getz Museum, Talbot's Inn, snacks at Scout and Scholar, and the bourbon slushie at Volstead (tip: late dinner reservations or a light dinner suggested as snacking during the day tour is plentiful).
