I’ve been going to the store located at 75 & Price Road since about April or May of this year. The customer service gets worse and worse especially with 2 of your cashiers. They are ladies who obviously don’t like their jobs. Many situations have happened that I’ve witnessed with other customers. Just last week the cashier with white hair was so rude to an elderly lady who could not get her credit card to work. The customer was so embarrassed and the cashier said to her, “don’t you know how to work that card?” “Don’t you know your number to be entered?” The poor woman had to leave her basket of groceries there and leave the store. I told my husband I almost bought her groceries for her. The cashier was so very rude and I find that unacceptable. Then you have another cashier who is older, has brown hair and typically wears it in a ponytail. All she does is complain about her health. People don’t come there to hear that and she acts as though it’s ok to tell everyone her problems. I also have had a major issue with one of the women who works in the deli. Her hair used to be blonde and black. This past week it is now blonde and purple. She is very rude and hateful. If I ask for sliced meat and I tell her the size of slice I want, then I expect to see a slice before she moves forward to ensure it’s what I want. If you ask her to see a slice, she gets mad and gives you a dirty look. I have witnessed her doing this to other customers as well that were in front of me and they turned around and said something to me about this woman’s behavior and that it wasn’t the first time they had witnessed it. Perhaps she should not be in a customer facing position. Lately. I have noticed that your fruit and vegetables are old. Your oranges have mold on them, your bananas are already turning black and are mushy, your grapes are turning brown, apples are rotten, potatoes are black and rotten, black spots on the limes. Your milk dates are about to expire, your bread is getting stale and sometimes I cannot find a date on the bread, and your bags of potato chips have been crushed. I stopped going to Walmart for one reason, because it is so crowded and I hated standing in the long lines. But I’m going back there. At least I know I can get fresh food and produce. Plus, I know I won’t be faced with hateful workers. This is very sad as I was happy to find a store closer to my home and I didn’t have to wait...

I have been a loyal and happy customer of this Homeland location since moving to Bartlesville over two years ago. I would guess that I have been in around 100 times in that time span and the store has always been clean, well-stocked, and the staff very friendly. But after today, I will never step foot in this store again!
Let me explain: I am a diabetic and have a medical alert dog for my blood sugar. She has accompanied me on nearly all of my visits to the store. She's very friendly and well-behaved and we've never had any incidents in the store. The staff are even acquainted with her and like to give out treats. But tonight I entered the store as usual, grabbed my cart and headed to the meat section. A manager passed by, then turned and informed me that my dog would have to leave the store. I tried to explain that she always came with me (for two years and that there were never any issues). He was not moved. I then handed him my cart and informed him that I would be taking my loyal business elsewhere... he very rudely said something along the lines of "That's your choice..." Well, no sir, my choice was to keep patronizing your lovely establishment and you are forcing me to leave.
I was not well informed of my rights under the ADA at the moment in question or I would have made a much larger issue. The thing is, that unless there is some kind of incident with a service animal, then it is illegal to inquire about their status (which is in effect inquiring about the nature of YOUR disability). Not only is it specifically spelled out in state and federal law, it's incredibly rude!

Read moreThis is so annoying dude. I went up there, shopped for WIC items and almost every single thing I picked out wasn't actually wic. I checked the small tag to confirm it said wic on it in small print and it did and the wic card didn't work on it. So now I wasted several dollars on canned vegetables on my food stamps for no reason when the wic should of worked. Will not shop at this homeland location again. I never ever have this problem at the one off Madison Blvd. Everything there is properly labeled and most items labeled wic work. But in this case, a jar of mushrooms, two cans of tomato paste, a can of green beans and a can of sweet peas didn't work on the wic card. The cashier wrongly told me it accepted all fruits and veggies, much to my dismay I've found out the last tiny bit of food stamps we had went on stuff the wic was supposed to cover. It doesn't matter it's whatever just don't go here to shop for wic every single thing labeled wic is essentially wrong. I checked the small tag with the upc label on it and it said wic in small letters and it still didn't work and the cashier get it wrong tell you all fruits and veggies got covered. Didn't figure out until I got home that wasn't the case. Now it's too late to fix it and it's probably 10 bucks in food stamps so not worth going back up there to jack with. I just don't appreciate the labels being wrong and the cashier wrongly telling me the wic card covered it...
