To be a fair reviewer I will say that just because we didn't like this place doesn't mean you won't. There are a lot of positives about this bistro. We just didn't care for most of the food. That is why I gave it 3 stars instead of 1 so you decide. The atmosphere, environment, and decor of of this bistro was cool. There are board games just inside the door I guess to pick out if you and your group want to just chill out and play some games. There is a large lounging area with couches, chairs, and tables. A decent sized bar to sit at and a smaller area with dining tables in the middle of the room but I think you can just sit anywhere visit, eat and drink. If you want laid back this is the place for you. Also I feel it is important to point out that it was very clean and the staff was friendly. Now for us as far as trying the food and without naming names there are many other places we would pick first for dinner. I'm not saying you wouldn't like it because there are a lot of people who love their food so you might too. I would say you definitely have to give it a fair shot like we did and then decide for yourself. We had the meat and cheese board and loved it. My wife loves cauliflower so we tried their cauliflower steak. She did not like it. After 3 bites we both thought the seasonings that topped the Cauliflower were way overpowering and we couldn't eat anymore of it. We also tried the Irish Pub Nachos. We thought they were good. The flavor was great but the potatoes wedges to beer cheese and sour cream ratio was way off and they got soupy fast. Not sure how much we left in the bowl but we only ate 4 wedges before jumping ship. I can't remember what it was called but we also ordered a Beef Po'boy that was being prepared by a chef from a mobile kitchen next to or behind the bistro from what we understood. We were cool with that. We have eatin some really good food from food trucks. It was brought to us just as we were done with the nachos so we moved on to it. The bad part was the bun it was served on was already really soggy when we got to try it. Everything just fell out of the bottom when I picked it up. Also we didn't notice it until after we ordered it but it was served with cicada sauce on it. I do not know if this was from real cicadas or not but I know there is a trend out there right now with restaurants using cicadas in their recipes. Since it is popular and the fact that there was a sticker on the outside of the paper wrapping the sandwich with a picture of a cicada on it with modern southern cuisine written on it I think it was the real deal. Personally I'm not a fan of eating insects but since we already ordered it we had to try it anyway. After about 1/3 of the sandwich we couldn't eat anymore. Not from being full but between the sogginess and the whole cicada thing we were done. We left and went down the street and started over with our dinner date and had a great meal. Like I mentioned at the beginning of this you should give it a shot. You might love it like many others out there do. We'd like to think that maybe we just got an off night. We might try it again sometime but we'll just try something different. Maybe like 2 meat and cheese boards.

My wife and I had the restaurant to ourselves, so we had the pleasure of a lengthy visit with the owner of Crossing 2nd. A very personable young lady, with an interesting back ground as a result of her military service and professional employment. She has traveled the world. Experiences that influence the restaurant’s menu. In addition to good old home-grown versions of Okie staples like a smash burger and meat loaf; there are a variety of international cuisine offerings. Just a few examples: Shawarma to Stitzel, and Spring rolls to Bao Buns. Some of her favorite ethnic foods from around the world. And for the Veg Heads there is something called a Grilled Cauliflower Steak. In the back of the restaurant is a large dining and event room, with outdoor seating. It is set up to handle a crowd. Check all of the pictures. There is Karaoke and live bands on the weekend. The music genre is as varied as the restaurant’s menu. We kept our lunch simple today with an Oklahoma Smash Burger. A big beef patty with cheese, dressed with L,T,P&O. A side of crispy fries completed the basket. I noticed something different about the burger on the first bite. The tomato. The tomato had an unmistakable home-grown flavor. If you know, you know. I asked. Sure enough, grown in her husband’s garden. An excellent burger. Great food, great owner and from looking at the pictures a fun place to spend the evening.

Took my daughter here because we had been wanting to try this place since it opened. Came on a Wednesday (curry day) since we are big curry fans. Service was friendly and fast. We received our food in short order and it was great in both flavor and presentation. The atmosphere was nice, though my daughter and I agreed that we want to return for some of the hosted events or for the evening atmosphere. Definitely feels like a great place to order something to drink with friends, maybe a sandwich as well, set up a board game, and have fun. My wife and I even think it'd be nice to bring a book to read while eating. That's how relaxed and inviting the atmosphere is at Crossing 2nd. Give it a try, you won't leave disappointed.

They're trying and the events and entertainment they put on are great for the community so thats why i give it 3 stars. The kitchen needs work though and what i ordered today deserved only one star. They do alot of good looking baked goods but i dont eat that stuff. I ordered a salad for dine in lunch and i ordered it with double meat and a lemonade. What i got was some plain chopped romain in a small styrofoam togo container and plastic wear. I gotta say id prefer some real dinnerware from a dine in restaurant. Serving everything in styrofoam for dine in isnt very eco freindly. It gets worse to, the double meat i ordered was two tiny scoops of chicken salad. Seriously it was maybe 3 to 4oz total of meat. I paid extra for that? Then to ad insult to injury its served with a little packet of Kraft dressing. Which again is wasteful and also just plan gross. When i order a $12 meal from a restaurant i dont want cheap dressing served out of a packet with it. The nail in the coffin was my lemonade tasted like it was just sprite with a squirt of lemon juice in it. Not tasty at all and i didnt drink it. I dont drink soda at all. I dont want to be to critical but it is what it is and i hope the owners take it to heart and maybe try to up there game on some of the menu options that just dont cut it. Painted horse down the street has a MUCH higher quality grilled chicken salad thats comparable in price and when acrually feel you up and taste good. Anyhow, i like the restaurant overall and really hope they do well and succeed. For me though the food just isnt a fit. Leaving a restaurant still hungry after spending $12 for a salad isnt...
