We came here for our honeymoon dinner and loved it! The food was delicious. We ordered the onion rings for an appetizer delicious! Brussel sprouts and lemon coleslaw were very good. We split the Q burger. Our waitress was friendly and quick. I definitely will be back!! Additional information: We went back for lunch today because I enjoyed the food so much. The food was delicious again this time but the service was not. When the waitress asked for our drink order, my husband ordered an unsweet tea and I asked for a glass of ice. I brought an unopened small bottle of coke in with me because I don't like pepsi products. This restaurant only has pepsi products. I do this quite often at restaurants and never had any problems, until today. The waitress said she would have to ask the manager if it was ok. When she returned to our table she told me I was not allowed to drink it. I asked "why not? It's a sealed bottle? I was just in here last night and left a wonderful review for this place and we made a point to come back again today!" In the meantime I noticed at a table near ours a woman has a coffee cup that she brought in with her and she had ordered a water. No one was saying anything to her. Waitress returned again after several minutes and brought me a glass of ice. Then said " we are making a concession for you just this time." She avoided our table like we had the black plague after that. Her service stunk because I asked for a glass of ice! She seemed to take it personally. We even told her we realize you just don't want to get in trouble at work. She would hardly even make eye contact with us it was really poor service because of that. So my original review was five stars for this restaurant but after this I'm going to lower it to three the food is delicious but the service was just rude the second time around.

We had my family's Christmas here and it was pretty empty at 11, but that changed as we dined. My family enjoys getting lot of appetizers and boy howdy, did we ever. The Firecracker Shrimp(definitely has a small kick to it,) was good, the Fried Mushrooms and Zucchini was delicious. My only issue was some of the zucchini was a little soft but it still tasted great. The chips and dip was solid with a thicker queso but had a great flavor, the salsa was solid. The Osage Oysters which is their take on Calf Fries were fantastic, in fact we ordered a 2nd round. Those and the cheese curds, which had a great breading were my two favorites. We finally got to our entrees where my wife and daughter split the Cheesus! It is a half pound burger patty with 3 kinds of cheese and then their famous 5 cheese mac and cheese on top. I had a bite and it was great. Despite all that cheesy goodness, you could still taste beef. I had the steak salad which is a grilled sirloin over a bed of greens, tomatoes, onion, roasted potatoes, roasted Brussel sprouts, and blue cheese with a balsamic vinaigrette that was tasty. There was a slight kick but it was properly cooked and had great flavor. I look forward to our next meal there!

We were told we had to go here and get the brisket Mac and cheese!!! The wait was 15 minutes (although I think it might have been less) we were seated upstairs and could people watch. The server came over and took our drink order. Then came back with the drinks…left. Came back a few minutes later and took our order and we said we wanted an extra plate because we were warned it was a large portion. We waited and after about 30 min the waiter said the kitchen lost our order. He came back 3 more times saying he was trying to fix the issue with our food.after an hour our food finally came. It was as good as the person said it would be. We waited for the ticket and I finally went to the register And gave him my card to pay. The waiter apologized for the wait but never refilled our drink. When we were leaving I asked for a manager And they said I could wait and they would go find her. I said I’m tired of waiting for drinks, food and service. They said they could find the manger and possibly get me a gift card and I told them I was traveling and wouldn’t be back to use a gift card. Over all the food we got was good the service was bad and not worth the price.

This was my first visit. I unfortunately didn't take any photos, due to my wife and I celebrating our anniversary. She ordered the Heap of Heifer, and I got the ribeye.

The Heap of Heifer is roasted pulled beef in a bbq sauce on top of mac n cheese. The mac n cheese was standard elbow macaroni. The cheese sauce was fresh and not your standard sauce. I asked for the recipe, but it was no bueno. It was served with parmesan slow roasted patatos. The presentation was not that appealing, but the taste was like an " angel singing moment." The cost was 17. Well worth the price for that piece of WOW tastebud satisfaction.

The Ribeye, um, what can I even put. I do not even know how many ounces this was. It was about " I'm guessing only" 10 inches long, 6 inches wide, and 2 inches think. This steak was massive. It covered the entire plate. I always eat my steaks blue. The server had never heard of blue. So I explained what blue was. It was served with freshly made skin mashed patatos made with cream cheese, not butter. And mixed vegetables. When the server brought the steak, I actually had her try it. She was kind of hesitant but took the bite. Her reaction said it all. The Ribeye literally melted in her mouth. I said yes, that is perfection. I so wish I had a photo. This steak deserves awards. It was a masterpiece served to be enjoyed with a magical experience. The cost of Ribeye was 39 The only damper on the "H. Potter" experience was the loudness of the bar. I am disabled and the only seating for accessible seating is the bar area. So there was a lot of screaming and yelling of those watching a football game. Kinda killed the romantic experience. The serve "Olivia" was the best waitress I have ever met. She took time to engage in a conversation and really recommend things that we may have like. Every time she walked by, she engaged in a conversation. She made the visit so wonderful. Knowing it was our anniversary from our conversation. She brought us a blueberry, lemon, cake. This cake is the best cake I have ever had. It was a piece of art. The taste was so amazing, my wife gave me that look like touch it, and I wouldn't make it to the next anniversary. Painted Horse Bar & Grille is, in my opinion, the heart of downtown Bartlesville. If you live or visit Bartlesville, Painted Horse is a must...

I'm on the fence about this review. I've had good experiences in the past here but recently had a very bad one. I attempted to give then a chance to do something to correct the situation but nothing was done unfortunately.

I've eaten here numerous times and one of my favorite things to order is the hummus plate. Had it many times and it was always very good. This last time however was a different story. I had called in the order to go and went in to pick it up. When I got home I opened up the to go container and there was no hummus. It was just a to go container of carrots and celery. To top it off there was crumbled food of an unknown origin on the veggies which I had to brush off. Also they typically have fresh whole carrots that have been cut. This time it was bagged mini carrots that where dried out and gross. Hardly worth $10+. I had to drive back to the restaurant to get the hummus which I did. When I got home and finally tried to eat it the hummus tasted aweful. It obviously wasnt made to the same recipe and quality that it usually is. I was unable to eat it at all so it was 2 trips to the restaurant and $10 worth of old veggies covered in mystery food and unedible super bitter hummus. A few days later I went in to the restaurant to let them know about it. I decided to give them a chance so I sat down and ordered lunch. I told my waitress about it and she assured me that she would let the manager know. She apologized for the bad experience but that was the last it was mentioned. If the manager of this restaurant cared about there reputation and quality he/she would of at the very least come to my table to apologize in person and ask to hear exactly what happened in an effort to keep this from happening again. If that happened I would of not written this review. However since it didnt, I wanted to warn people about my experience and to be cautious when ordering take out from here. If the management of this restaurant wants to make this experience right I'll be happy to reconsider...
