I Had 2006 Nissan Altima that I took there to get the battery replaced.. The battery was fairly priced, they installed it,no charge and the store manager installed for me. He did a great job cleaning my battery terminals and making sure the battery was in secured and properly installed.

The issue I had was the purchase of the battery in general. When the associate (Denstiny) was writing my order up, I noticed that they put some terminal washer on the counter.I asked if they came with the purchase of the battery, she said yes. Once Carlos came to help complete my order I was being charged for the washers. I asked him if he was charging me and he said yes. I responded by stating that "she (Destiny) said they were free" and she immediately switched up her story in front of the manager (Carlos) and responded by saying "No I didn't" He never asked if I wanted them, they were essentially forcing me to buy them. Carlos went to comment that they were only 2 bucks. That didn't sit well with me because I was never asked if I wanted them and the associate lied about what she said. That comment by Carlos made me feel as if my money wasn't appreciated or valued. In the future I may still buy parts here, but I'm definitely shopping...

I prefer AutoZone over other places..So after I put this review online I decided to go back to AutoZone to get a battery because I was having battery problems. The employee tested the battery and said it had zero charge and put the battery on the charger and when I came back to pick it up he tested the battery again and said the battery was bad and in his words "a huge paperweight".. he advised me on battery replacements and I left thinking that I appreciated all he'd done and would probably come back to buy the battery from there after I shopped around but AutoZone is usually the only place that I buy stuff from. I took the battery back home put the battery in the car just to sit it somewhere until I replaced it, hooked it up and the car cranked right up. To say that I was displeased is an understatement. I called back and spoke with another gentleman who said he doesn't know why that happened and asked him was it the tester and he said no maybe I need to replace the alternator. I love AutoZone.. it was disheartening to hear his indifference.. I'm just not sure if I ever want to go back here after this...

I was having a very horrible couple of days, leaving a bad situation at my families house and of course as soon as I'm about to leave I attempt to crank the car and battery is dead. Got a jump and left but after I turned it off in walmart parking lot it wouldn't start. Tried to get a jump but the battery was so bad it wouldn't start. Turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I walked with my son to this Autozone in the 100 f degree heat to buy a battery since walmart didn't have the one I needed , and met Paul who works there. Told him I had to walk back and he absolutely went above and beyond. Gave me and my child a ride back and installed it. He noticed the battery i had in the car was so swollen and bad that giving it another jump and driving it could have been detrimental. Possibly even exploded. He installed it quickly and did a great job. My car started perfectly. With everything I had going on in my life, car problems are the last thing I need. Everyone at this store was super nice and helpful but big shout out to Paul for being a hero and doing the most for me and my son as well as the car in question. He even gave my son a car toy he had in his vehicle . Give this...
