I’m only leaving this here for feedback purposes. Tonight I waited 15 minutes for 2 small milkshakes that were sent in prior to me getting there. I will note that I came in to the restaurant 25 minutes before close and there were cars in the drive thru but rarely anyone inside. I go to the lakeland store frequently and have been to the winter haven store a hand full of times. I was under the impression that every worker that passes is supposed to check on you, no one checked on me not even the manager who passed by (but that’s besides the fact). Considering that there were probably 15 workers behind the counter I would believe that orders and drinks would be bagged and ready to go within minutes but anyway I digress. I want to mention the 2 girls working what seemed to be the Togo area; who were too busy playing and dancing with each other to push orders out. I waited 15 minutes for 2 small milkshakes, something that takes seconds to make. I wasn’t given an update or anything. Instead these 2 lovely ladies were too busy calling out a DoorDash that has been there since I got there. But what seriously surprised me was when one girl walked over to the big rack that says “PICK UP” and asked the other girl “WHATS THIS SHELF FOR??? WHY DOES IT HAVE NAMES ON IT? WHAT DO WE DO WITH THESE?” And then proceeded to shrug her shoulders and walk behind the counter to her friend and play around some more. I however want to thank the manager (assuming he’s a manager considering he was in a black shirt) (who also walked passed me without inquiring if I’ve been helped) who coached these girls on why it’s important to push out food and not stand around playing. Wanna know how my experience ended tonight? We’ll fed up with this situation I decide to go wait in my car, (because it’s embarrassing standing at a counter while everyone ignores you) until I felt like the 2 milkshakes were done. Well I went back inside walked up to the counter where one of the girls were, she seemed to be too busy stocking- after realizing that I wasn’t gonna get any help from her; I went thru the cups on the counter to find want I needed. The cups had condensation on them and they seemed melted. Well not that anyone cares and I’m sure that this will be pushed off as if I’m a “Karen” but I’m a DoorDash driver and this was an order that I was picking up, that makes it more ridiculous. I had to give “our” customer this because 2 people that were working this area were poorly trained. I take what I do seriously, serious enough to write a review. I get that it’s a new restaurant and all that but by the time I got in to my car to leave your drive thru was about empty and there was maybe 4 cars in your parking lot. I hope my next...
Read moreI was excited to have a chick fil a near home, but will still be driving to the S. Florida location. I have ordered four times from here and the one thing is they are consistent. The only problem is is consistently bad. Every trip I’ve gone here it’s always the same, terribly slow service because either they don’t move cars forward or they stand around talking with each other. When you do get up to the window, the order is alway wrong because the kids can’t read the tags. Here was my last experience tonight that was the final straw. Same slow service, when I got to the window a girl gave me an order. I could tell it wasn’t mine because it had a milkshake (which I didn’t order) in the cup holder. I told her it’s the wrong order, but she kept saying it is because my name is Matt right? I said yes, but I don’t drive a gray Chevy (which was on the tag). Then she continued to take it to the car behind me. She brought the order back inside because it wasn’t theirs either. Then she came back out (with the same stuff)and said the food order was right just wrong drink drinks. She said the bag was in the car behind me but “they didn’t touch it” and tried to give me the food. I said I wanted a fresh order and she persistently repeated the same thing “the bag was in their car, but didn’t touch it”. I still didn’t want it and she took it inside and asked another employee if she’s supposed to make a new one or have me take that. The other employee told her to give me THAT bag with food back. I told her no and wanted it remade because I couldn’t trust the other people didn’t touch/sneeze/cough or whatever when the bag was in theirs. The underage manager asked me to pull up to the cones and she’ll bring out the fresh order when it’s done. I did and waited until a different employee came up to give me “my order” once again gave me a wrong order with nothing similar to what I ordered and the tag did have my name but totally different vehicle (again). Finally after multiple attempts the manager did bring me my correct order with overdone nuggets of dark meat (not white chicken breast like normal) and incorrect sauces. Justin (owner) if you are reading this please have a meeting with Mr. Brickhouse who knows how to efficiently run a quality Chick Fil A. Any ways for my new order i had just paid for there was no new book nor did i get my drink..the male running orders said ok...here im thinking he was going to make it. All while the lead at the ice machine hears and does nothing and proceeds to clean ice area with a napkin...im sure with all of the momey chikfila makes thwy have $$ for cleaning towels.
A third person overhears that i am still waiting and then goes n gets the drink and double chexks the reciept as if im trying to get a free drink
I spend 100 a month here and i just feel like the service is poor
The menu isnt consistent with other chikfila a spicy sandwhich is usually a #2 not a #6 like at this location
NOT ONE PERSON SAID MY PLEASURE...i was shocked because it was something that i have lived about chikfila as they and hilton always say that..any ways long story short i still ended uo with 2 if the same books...looks like ill just go to another restaurant
