KJ's Market — Local services in Batesburg-Leesville

I've been trying to do my grocery shopping at my local stores vs big chains, and KJs has been a good option. I've been able to find most of what I need and good prices. I have also enjoyed their hot and cold meals. I have had a poor experience recently though, as I noticed a dead fly on top of a cake when I was shopping. The two heavyset AA women working in the deli today at 4:30 pm were rude. I asked for a helping of Mac n cheese. She picked up the container and at that very moment apparently a friend of hers came up asking about blue icing. I like Kjs. The staff are friendly and helpful. They have a pretty good selection of craft beer (which is one of the reasons I went). Got a huge double pack of pork ribs for almost 30 percent off.
