I'd like to give a big shout out to Sierra at your Urbandale location for grabbing me the soft ball sized cabbage you see here. Its smaller than my onion and it's going to get smaller once I peal it and cut the stem off. Neat! Its not even the onion I ordered either. I ordered the bag of yellow onions that was on sale and I got one boiling onion instead. This one. She was also kind enough to call me because you were out of the bread I wanted. I was surprised because they've never taken the time to do that before. How nice! So she asked if I wanted a different one instead and she named which one. It sounded good so I said sure! I'll try that! Thank you, Sierra! I got no bread. None. I am breadless and confused. At least I wasn't charged for it. Still... that's weird, right? Why did you call me? You guys were out of all of the items you're advertising on sale and she called me for bread and I didn't even get it wtf lmao! I left a nice big fat tip because I felt guilty for not being able to go myself. Hello start of school flu bug. You're welcome for not bringing cooties into your store btw. But now... I guess my husband can eat the cabbage and we will just order a pizza lmao. Oh and BTW. I tipped YOU guys a huge delivery tip and you had DD deliver instead who didn't get any of my notes about not knocking on my door and waking up my sick kiddo. And now that I recall, you did that last time too. I didn't really appreciate that. What's the point of being able to leave you guys notes? I got a text saying I'd get my delivery at 6 pm by Tammie and then five minutes later, Stewart from DD was knocking on my door with my order, just before 5 pm. I have all of the texts. I can't make any of this up. What is wrong with you guys? Are you under duress? Is it your turn in the Twilight Zone? And finally: I think it should be investigated if you're having people pay you all of these fees and leaving tips for YOU to deliver but Stewart from DD knew nothing about the tip I left you guys. I can get over everything else, but this is worth investigating. Who did I tip? Sierra got a $5 pick fee and your store got a $10 delivery fee (lmao okay). We see how well that went. But you guys did not deliver it. So who got the tip? I don't know what you guys have going on in that store, but something is seriously wrong and that cannot possibly be legal. So I'm having that looked into and I'm involving my credit card company and the FTC. I liked Stewart and he deserves a tip too. Especially since he seemed to be the only one here who knew what the heck he was doing yesterday. Jfc! This, you have not heard the end of. The tips are for the drivers. That's why it's called a "delivery tip". It literally says "tip your delivery driver". You guys got your fees and couldn't even "deliver" on that part. So what are you doing? Guess...
Read moreThis store is terrible and it's never going to change. They freeze their apples in the summer and fall before they put them out so that you don't know until you get home that your apples are full of rot and bruises. Check the bottoms of the premade salads because they're covered in rot juice because they're most likely expired or they expire THAT DAY. They will not put anything new out until they sell the last of them even if they're expired. But they will just tell you that you can bring them back for a refund as though that makes it okay and like that's not friggin inconvenient or anything. Hey guys, we'd like to be able to EAT the food we buy after we buy it. Just saying. Their deli is a joke. It's almost never open. Well, it's open because you can get a pound of pepperjack cheese, I guess. But the menu boards, they never have what they say. And don't ask them if there's any fried chicken because the lady behind the counter with the glasses from 1972 will have an aneurism. Jfc! If you call customer service they don't do anything about it. If you post an inquiry on Facebook they won't even respond. They'll just delete it and most likely ban you from posting on their page again. I'm pretty sure it's a family owned store and that's why they're not being held to the same standards of service. That's too bad. People in Battle Creek enjoy a good deli too. Oh well. And you can't blame Covid for this. This started before that. I used to come to this deli daily in 2016, 2017, and until about mid 2018 and then you guys suddenly couldn't have anything out no matter what time of day it was, and the excuses just kept piling on. That's when the nonsense back there started. So whatever the problem is, it began there. That's also about the time your produce department started freezing their apples, and also about the time some long time employees began leaving. Hmmm. Fix it or give it up, you guys. Jeez. I mean, your employees back there getting a royal attitude with customers over it means it's affecting them too. At least do it for them since whoever is back there is most likely someone's sister or mom or...
Read moreI got what I needed and the lines weren't long so we were able to get in and out. Of course it was after 8pm.
Thank you for responding owner. FYI I would give five stars if somebody can find a company who makes instant mashed potatoes without the citric acid in it. It's the only thing I wasn't actually able to buy bc the citric acid messes upy gut. For some reason the only kind I like is instant. I know weird. More Companies have started to use citric acid in a lot of the processed foods from bread, potatoes, and canned foods. There are places are there out there who doesn't use this in there ingredients. So if u can find that company, u would have another thing over Meijer that they don't carry either. Obviously u don't have to if u don't want to. But I guarantee I'm not the only customer who has stomach issues. And I'm required to be on a soft food diet. There isn't a lot of choices...
