Harbor Freight — Local services in Battle Creek

Harbor Freight tools is a good place to get tools cheep but I think you all know that. I find the saying that you get what you pay for is true at Harbor Freight. The screw driver set that I got there did not last long when it came to working on my truck. For house hold projects they worked fine but not for the truck. most of the time that I go in there no one bothers me. If i need any kind of assistance the staff is not hard to find. unlike running to Lows or Meijer or even Walmart for a "quick run" you can be in and out of Harbor Freight with no problem. Even the few times I have had to wait in line it was not a big deal I was still in and out with in 10mins. they have a clearance section all the way in the back corner of the store. You can pick up some good deals here if you don't mind some parts missing say out of a ratchet set. All and all with my income level Harbor Freight keeps...

If you’ve ever been to a harbor freight, you know that they try to pitch the “inside track” membership to you… They tell you all about how it can help you and save you money. So, I finally sign up for it. Today today I spent nearly $1000 in the store on all different types of items. Not one dollar did I save as a result of my inside track membership. So I questioned an employee about it… Their response was “it’s really just a marketing ploy to get more people in here“. And, the savings that you might have seen in the past shopping here versus other places, doesn’t really exist much anymore. Prices are through the roof, and meaningful sales...

What can I say? I use mainly thier tools daily, I do use a few pricey tools like dewalt or teng. But since they opened here I've only broke 2 of thier Pittsburgh brand tools, and within 2 mi uses of walking into the store they honor the lifetime warranty and replace it.

I've had most of thier bauer line since release, and just recently burned up the 1/4 impact driver(I use it way beyond its specified purpose, and killed it on a leaf spring shackle which it isn't rated to do, but this was the 8th shackle I've done with it)
