We used to love this place. The remodel of Serious Dogs was a serious misstep. The once family friendly atmosphere is gone. You walk in to be met with a sterile atmosphere and a huge bar. There is no clear place to order. The waitress let us order and then told the other table about a 2 for one special we were not offered that would have saved us significantly for the same order without chips, which we told her we didn’t want (yes we still gave a 20% tip and we will speak with not returning verses arguing over a few dollars). The cozy booths are gone. There is no place to sit without being exposed to the people at the bar. This place is NO LONGER kid friendly. They used to have the best cheese curds in the world. Now they are small, chewy, and not close to the former quality. The hotdogs were still good, but we were just sad to see one of our favorite places turned into this. There is a huge room in the back that could have housed the bar and kept the special former character of this place. It’s clear the customer base they are trying to draw and it isn’t their former loyal families. My kids were crushed that their former favorite place has been reduced to this. Very disappointed after the long wait for them to reopen. We took our food and left. Don’t think...

Stopped in for lunch. Went with the coney style dog which is a little misleading. Its a chili dog with onions, mustard, and cheese. The description says chili, but the actual name of the item is coney style, just call it a chili dog. To the nuts and bolts of the review, one of the best takes on a chili dog I've had. Great dog, chili had the right consistency and not overly spicy. The onions were rough chopped which, again, suits my tastes. Where this thing shines is the bun, or lack thereof. Served on a single piece of texas toast, absolutely outstanding choice. Who knew? I ordered tots in lieu of chips, and those were crunchy and delicious as well. Michelle my server was GREAT, she even brought me a sample of the actual coney sauce that comes on the traditional coney to compare to the chili. Great place and I hope to...

I heard a lot about this place so I finally tried. Meh. Our server was awesome. The service was terrible because she was the only one there. She was very nice and apologetic. Can't remember what dog I had. Tom's maybe? Chili and jalapeños and something.....

Kid had a smash burger and wife had a Seattle I think. Just average food honestly. I've had warmer dogs at a football game. And they don't like their customers to be warm either. It was probably 68° in there with the temp outside at a blistering 20°. There's a fireplace that looks like it hasn't been lit in a decade. Crazy. Would I come back? If I wanted to shoot pool in a separate room while pounding down warm beer and whiskey? Nah.

2 dogs with chips, an appetizer, a smash burger with fries and a kids corn dog meal with 4 drinks and a decent...

The front is inconvenient for the staff. Only one employee in the front. After taking the order the front employee goes to the back by going around the customers to get the food. Several times i seen people standing, waiting for someone to help them because the only employee in the front had to go in the back to bring the food out for someone else. The employee seemed overwhelmed at times. Dropping food, not taking our orders right. No ways to offer a cash tip and how she was working she definitely needed it. The dog is really pricey. But it is really good. Lower the prices or give more food in the order, make the layout better, and have another employee and it will definitely be a five star.

I was really disappointed with my experience here. I had to wait 30 minutes past when my order was supposed to be ready, even though I don’t live far from the restaurant. When I finally got home, the food was cold, like it had been sitting there for a while. On top of that, the kids' hot dog meal I ordered had a ripped bun, and hardly any french fries. The waitress also didn’t check my receipt, and I almost got shorted a $2.99 small fountain pop if I hadn’t spoken up. To make things worse, the parking setup is unsafe—so close to the street that it’s hard to see when pulling out. This place really needs to improve its service speed, food quality, accuracy, and parking situation.
