So I was going to hold off on the review until I saw how my nails lasted but I decided I should write it while everything is still fresh in my mind. So I booked a soak off and acrylic short set with Sterling last week. It says in the booking if you are doing a soak off to be one hour early, so despite my appointment being for 1:30 I arrived at 12:30 as it said. She was not there so someone else did my soak off which I appreciated. I believe her name was Helen and she was very sweet and educated me a bit on my nails. She finished shortly after 1pm and I waited for my actual nail tech to arrive. I didnt let it bother me that she showed up at 1:33pm because someone else had been able to assist me which I appreciated. But once my nail tech arrived she needed a minute to settle in and greet everyone and get ready...which is fine but if you have to do all that please come before my appointment time starts? Anyways, once she started I got the best vibe from her and knew she would kill my nails because she was so kind and open and understanding. I want to stress that despite the fact that I will not be returning to this shop, I did really enjoy Sterlings work. She is incredibly talented and kind. She's the first nail tech I ever worked with who truly did what I wanted and gave me a set that fit my personality perfectly. I just wish she had been able to focus a bit better and had been mindful of the fact that this was my first appointment, you don't know me yet so try to be more professional until you do. At one point she asked if I wanted hot chocolate and I said no but then she proceeded to ask everyone else in the shop if they wanted until someone said yes so she could make one for them and herself...while doing my nails. I was stunned lol. I mentioned to her 2 or 3 times that I had a date that night and she didnt seem to get the hint that I needed her to just focus and not stop to chat to everyone around her. Even the owner, was the same. They kept stopping to vape or chat and it was not professional to me. At the end I asked my bf to come in so they would see I needed to go because at this point it was 4pm and I arrived at 12:30pm... Love the nails, they're gorgeous and the price was great but unfortunately this place...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been going here for the past few months after I moved and my previous nail tech recommended Zanah. So far, Iāve seen Zanah for an acrylic full set and a few fill ins, and Sterling for a pedicure and a fill in. I was really nervous about trying someone new, but both are very talented in their application. Iāve never had any lifting at the cuticle, and have only now just experienced lifting at the free edge which they call āreverse liftingā, but this set I have on is about almost 6 months old and Iām probably due for a soak off. The vibes are great and everyone who works there are cheerful and nice. The first few times I had gone there, I had to wait 30+ minutes each to start my appointment even though I was on time. The very last time that happened, I expressed my frustration to Zanah and she did apologize and say that it doesnāt usually happen. But true to her words, I havenāt had to wait as long since, and Iāve had a decent amount of appointments since that time. So I can honestly say the it was probably truly an unlucky fluke and a coincidence since it hasnāt happened since. And itās also good to know that they prioritize quality over quantity since they donāt rush their clients, and Iāve never felt rushed. I truly respect an establishment where a customer feels comfortable enough to express feedback and it is handled professionally and taken seriously. Zanah and Sterling are very talented in their designs. I always get tons of compliments on my nails from friends and family and strangers alike. Although I havenāt used any of Teresaās services (yet), sheās a vibe and sheās their office manager I think and sheās super fun to be around. Zanah books out pretty fast, and appointments are only released 30 days out. All the other girls have decent availability though. And you can text them any questions you have and theyāre reasonably responsive. This place is more than a nail salon, itās an experience, and a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVisited the salon for the first time. I have been doing manicures with gel polish for 15 years without a break. But after the service in the salon I was left with an unpleasant impression!!! Manicurist do not know how to work with natural nails. Although they claimed that they would do what I wanted! They ruined my nails by painfully cutting off all the remnants of the previous material!! nails turned into film. I came to the salon on the third day after the service!!! Two days later the entire length came off, the varnish was red, looked untidy and was clinging to clothes! and I had to ask the master who did it to redo it or repair it. I came to the salon!!! I was refused! But with such legs it was impossible to go to a conference in another city. It was wild behavior. The administrator scolded me and kicked me out of the salon; there was no cultural service! They refused to change it!!! And they also refused to return the money!!! But when I paid, they didn't give me a receipt! although I asked!! You girls should think about whether you should trust such a master!!! ! I do not recommend!!! This is old-fashioned service and technicians, craftsmen who do not know how to listen to what the client wants, and are...
