New Good Friends — Restaurant in Bayonne

The food here is simple. It's not bad but not great. The reason for the 2 stars is their work ethics. I realize times are tough for all of us but I would've appreciated the transparency. After I received my food and reviewed the bill, I saw a $2.00 delivery charge. When I had asked for a little extra soy sauce and they never mentioned it would be a $1.00 extra and lastly I saw a "service fee" of $1.77 (not to be confused with the sales tax of $2.79) which I'm assuming is the a charge for paying by credit card. This will be the last time I'll order from there as they are not the only Chinese food restaurant around and like I said, the food...

Usually good but this time, food tasted off. My wife had the shrimp and broccoli and the shrimp had a very fishy smell when we opened the container. She just ate one. Weird texture and color. My chicken in my kung Pao was tough too. The veggies had a bad aftertaste, like a chemical taste. As I said, usually good but, this time, I'm surprised how bad everything was. I had to throw everything out. My wife and I felt a little queasy too afterwards. Nothing serious but, thank God we didn't finish all the food. Very disappointed. If there was less than 1 star, this would get it. I could have had a better meal, quality and size for the price in the hood of the Bronx NY. I ordered vegetable lo mein, mixed vegetables in garlic sauce. It was like the boiled the vegetables in oil then scooped it in a ridiculously small placed container for the price of $8-9. There was no flavor whatsoever, either the mixed vegetables or the lo mein. I paid $20, plus a $5 tip. For garbage. And .... my...
