Cavender's Boot City — Local services in Baytown

Decent selection of boots, however one employee asked if I needed to find something and instantly starts looking for the boots I pointed out which is not bad. She pulled down about three boots and they were all different colors from the one on display which is what I said I wanted. She then proceeds to belittle me by saying “they dont always come in the same color”. I am aware of that which is why I said I wanted that specific color not just any color. I got her off of me by saying I am not interested in any boots then and just kept looking on my own. I took my time finding the boots and found the same exact ones as the display, and no it wasnt the other pair of the display boot as the box had both boots in it. I feel it’s not hard to ask “may I help with anything, ok let’s see if I can find that color for you”. Instead of being condescending and making it seem like I know nothing about boots. Very disappointed in her attitude and from now on will head to Boot Barn on Garth instead...

I would have given the place 5 stars because i have been coming here for many years , i was born in this city and work for this city. I started purchasing my work boots here 5 years ago, and never had anything negative to say, the girls working there have been very helpful all the time and very attentive towards us... But this last time we went in 2 girl employees were attending some young fellows, we came in the door, they just looked at us and turned right back. Without even greeting us , i walked all the way towards the work boots and 2 more employees were too busy I'm guessing to even ask if we needed help. At the Register was this girl ,who looked very confused and might have been new ,because she didn't know how to sell us the boots because we were using our Work Card. I usually don't have much to say on reviews but i was a bit...

Found some really good deals, but the customer service sucked. There were several young ladies working the floor ...No one greeted me, no one offered assistance... I literally walked around the entire and not a SOUL said a word, but they seem to greet all of the regulars and others. Then to make matters worst I"m at the counter with my items and they never acknowledge me and assisted others...At this point I'm pissed🤬😡😠... I would have left the items there, but my daughter and son wanted them🥺. I'm not use to this kind of service and treatment from Cavender's...it's always been top notch...NOT TODAY. I spend way too much money when I go,but this establishment will NEVER see another Dime...I'll drive to...
