I moved out of state and established with a breast care center where I currently live. Upon establishing, nearly 2 months ago, I requested my records via the new facility. A second request was sent last week and the facility denies receiving any records to compare a previously abnormal mammogram to the one just performed. Called to inquire as to why my records haven't been sent and was told they didn't receive the request. Had already confirmed the details months ago and again today, so I know it was sent to the correct place. Asked for a medical release to be sent to my personal email on file so that I could obtain the records to provide to my new facility and was "educated" about HIPAA. All staff members are friendly and helpful. My technician was a beautiful girl Liliana. She worked professionally and fast. She was so gentle, so sweet, she was smiling all the time. Kept on asking why was I there, I told her breast pain and felt a lump on one of my breasts. The experience has painful and stressful.
