Game X Change — Local services in Baytown

I did like the selection but not the service. They were not very friendly before checking out, after I dont know that id come back

They were doing a special buy two get one. Now anyone who has been to gamestop during one of these knows that it is the cheapest of the three that is free. However at gamestop if you purchase a 4th the more expensive of the 2 cheapest will be the free game. Not so here unless you make a seperate purchase, which is ridiculous. Originally I was almost overcharged about 40%. I made them break up the purchase once and gave up explaining when I realized that it was intentional the second time around.

My total was originally over 70 when it should have been less than 50 and the employees had no interest in fixing it. They actually intentionally kept arranging my purchases so that the third game would be the cheapest they could find. (Yes I bought quite a few.) This might technically be the same but I found it dishonest and rude to make me make seperate purchses to get a lower price then acting like I was the one...

Excellent selection of retro games and tech. This is basically the opposite of GameStop. All their stock is pre-owned so they don't throw away good stuff and they don't try to sell you what you don't want or any scam rewards program. Staff is very courteous and knowledgeable. They're also down to Earth and reasonable. Prices are comparable to Amazon except you don't have to deal with shipping or sketchy sellers.

I've bought a few things from this store over the past year and my experience has been awesome. Paige and John (Josh?) have excellent knowledge about games and they're super helpful. An item I bought was not working right and I brought it back and they exchanged it for a working one. I was very pleased with how they addressed the issue! I'll be buying all my gaming stuff from here...

These guys are lazy....love the company but the staff is lazy. I went here the night before and it was almost time for closing and they said it'll take an hour for them to look at my cards to come back the next day, which I understand it was closing time for them. I come the next day a little bit before an hour of them closing and they still refused to look at my cards that I've been trying to sell them. So I'm not understanding why they refused me besides them all being lazy. Mind you when my husband and I went earlier yesterday they to same girl actually looked at them in less than 30 minutes and the same girl denied looking at these the staff here is lazy and completely wrong for denying service after their own policy states to bring in whatever your selling an hr...
