DO NOT USE this location if you are looking for quality customer service and attention to detail. 5 out of 7 groomsmen had various alteration issues with their suits on the day before we leave for our out of town wedding. The grooms shirt looked like it had been worn several times and never laundered. No problem, they offered to order another one, come back the next day and pick it up. Simple. However when we arrive the next day, the new shirt was no where to be found and the associate treated us as if it was our fault. As if, it was a burden for her to locate the missing shirt the day before our out of town wedding! It’s your job! I finally asked for the dirty shirt back, So we could get on the road. at that time she ran to the back grabbed the first shirt she could find and dismissed us. Upon checking the tags hours later, to our surprise it was the wrong size. Not the original size that was fitted, ordered, re-ordered, and printed on the service ticket. Now it is too tight and the sleeves are too short, again one day before the wedding. Save your money, and your countless trips back and forth dealing with incompetent, unprofessional, Men’s Warehouse associates. I chose Men's Wearhouse suit rentals for my wedding solely for the convenience of locations, being our groomsmen were from many different towns across Texas and Louisiana. It was an absolute disaster! I (the bride) went in and picked everything out myself, explained to the lady that the groomsmen were going to wear boots so we needed the relaxed fit, not the pants that usually come with the rental. She insured me it was no worries, she would put a note on the whole account so everyone could see it before ordering. Multiple suits came in the week before with the wrong pants, and one even came in with a jacket that was extremely small. Of course we were assured it would come in on time, and all the things.. FRIDAY, THE DAY BEFORE MY WEDDING, nothing was in yet.. They were at the warehouse in Houston, but the hurricane in FLORIDA was causing delays.. I am not making this up.. They advised us to go to Dillard's and buy some dress pants - mind you these suit rentals were almost 300 dollars a piece and we had went in months before for measurements. They were under the impression my ceremony was at 1 o'clock on Saturday - Everything came in at 11 o'clock Saturday morning. TWO HOURS BEFORE... Once again, my family had the misfortune of dealing with the same older white man with a beard who clearly picks and chooses who he wants to treat with respect—and we weren’t it. His behavior screamed prejudice. He made us wait far longer than necessary, only to finally approach us with an attitude so dismissive and cold it bordered on hostile.
This man acted like he couldn’t be bothered, like helping us was beneath him. His rude, arrogant demeanor nearly ruined one of the most important nights of my son's life—his prom. And to make matters worse, he and his coworker had the audacity to gaslight us, acting as though we were the problem.
We refused to let this man sabotage such a special moment. We returned the suit and thankfully received the respect and service we deserved at the Houston location. It’s infuriating that someone like him is still allowed to represent your brand, ruining milestones and treating paying customers like they don’t matter.
Men’s Warehouse, do better. No one should have to endure this kind of treatment—especially not twice. These photos say more than I ever...
