This Dollar tree is like every other Dollar tree in the world. You're usually messy when you walk in. Usually awkward/ confusing people who are visiting the business kind of how Walmart used to be. That's the type of people you'll see here and always always understaffed. There has never been a time here where there's been enough staff. There are literally four check stands here and there's never been a time where more than two have ever been utilized. I don't see the point of even having those things there when they don't even have four people on staff at a time. Anyways, or at least that's this perspective that me as someone who's come to this specific Dollar tree for well over 20 years has experienced since it's the dollar free that's around and closest to me. I'll probably continue coming here because again choice wise I don't have access to a lot of other locations that are asking you to get to. But again don't expect a high quality or good experience. Not because of the staff here, but because of the lack of staff overall, the staff who is here is always friendly. They're always great at customer service and they're always happy to help out. But again there literally needs to be roughly two or three people to check stands/ Stockton shells when it's slow as well as two or three people stocking the shelves and cleaning up the store. There just never seems to be enough staff here which is always a deterrent in my mind to want to go and also is part of the reason why God don't go. Here is often as I probably would if the checkout and overall aesthetic of the...
Read moreI have been a loyal customer since this store opened I have met some very nice people that work here. Management has always been absolutely terrible, period. I am a disabled local man and carry and elderly service animal everywhere i go for support, I have brought her into this store a thousand times, Once in a blue moon someone scares her and she has an accident,I apologize and clean up any mess she may make. The other day i am in there an she has an accident while she was in motion and i did not notice it happened, Did the staff who know me well ask me to clean it up, NO! they chastise me in front of all the customers and refuse to allow me to clean it. I asked them to not belittle me or my animal and why they would make a scene in front of customers. all i got was stink eye and belittlement. I called corporate and they never returned my call or email. I have since gone in without my animal support and still got unfair treatment. The current lady manager and young gentleman were absolutely rude to say the least. Two questions why did you refuse to let me clean up peas spot. Why did you feel it was appropriate to embarrass a regular customer. I will never go back again. They will treat you badly and talk about you when you leave, shame on you people for being so mean and disrespectful. DO NOT GO HERE!! There are many more local DT'S that are...
Read moreEdited: I live right next to this store and have had the misfortune of having to stop in to grab a few things a few times.. This is THE WORST dollar tree in the whole Portland Metro area. DO NOT even think about stopping here as it will likely take you 45+ minutes.
The woman who work here (minus the older red head) are some of the rudest people I have ever come across in my life, and I always give every service worker the benefit of the doubt especially when understaffed but I will never again return to this location.
At all times there is never more then one register open, doesn't matter what day, what time or how busy they are. If they do open another lane they only call over one person at a time and will yell at you if you try to form a line and then mishandle your things.
The woman with short red hair and eye make up broke a pair of glasses I bought by slamming them on the counter. I truly hope this...
