Staff are really chill. The Quarter Lounge re-arranged their arcade cabinets to encourage social distancing, and are cleaning regularly. Individuals sell their work at Vintage Freak (I got a super cute dress there!), and I managed to nab Earthbound with an intact label at Retro Madness for $300 last year (usually around $400-$450 on Amazon). I moved away from Texas a few years ago, but my brothers and I make it a point to visit Retro Plaza whenever we get the chance to come back. I also keep my Mr. Saturn mini plush (purchased from an artist through the fanart displayed at the Quarter Lounge) hanging in my car as a good-luck charm for the road trips here and back. There's a charm about this place that you just don't see many places anymore! Supporting the small businesses at Retro Plaza is more...
Read moreCool concept but the retro clothes resale kind of died a few years ago. This is definitely the place to go if you like boy George merch, but alot of the clothes stink or have been repurposed by being sewn on demin or camouflage jackets with some questionable prices. Alot of bootleg / repro things that are overpriced. It would be one thing if it was a good bootleg bit unfortunately its not. The reprint is more faded looking than what the actual shirt from that time would look like. This store screamed Cali store vibes but this is Texas and unfortunately the location/ clientele isn't there . Was the only person there in the hour I was there, place smelt like weed so that would explain the pricing because you would have to be high af to be charging...

Including the five different fast food restaurants just right across the street if you get hungry. Can't play on an empty stomach. It may not have a bar (which is one thing that a lot of friends ask me about), but that's alright though, we live all the way in southern Fort Worth so it's probably best to not drink when we're driving about 20-25 minutes back...
