Bedford Hello Donuts — Restaurant in Bedford

The donuts were alright. They were more expensive than any other donut shop in the area. Mini cinnamon rolls ($.60) were more cheaper than a glazed donut (~$1)?!?! Cinnamon rolls seem like they’d be harder to make? You’d think Glazed donuts are less hard to make? The large sausage rolls were $2.29 which is fairly priced, the tiny sausage rolls were $1. The large ones were way better than the smaller ones. The inside was clean, the reason for a 4 star is because the donuts were very expensive. I bought 2 large jalapeño sausage rolls (they didn’t have jalapeño and cheese?? They were not spicy at all), 2 tiny sausage rolls (the dough outside was very tasty but the sausage was ok), 1 apple fritter (it was okay just a little more crispy than you’d expect), 1 white strawberry cake donut?? Donuts are gimicky. Sausage jalapeno rolls were decent. Staff acts like they hate their jobs. They got mad at me for using one of the ceramic mugs by the coffee machines. They only offer Styrofoam mugs for hot coffee, which is toxic and cancerous. Didn't know people still put out Styrofoam cups. They got mad at me for doing this. How was I to know a stack of mugs was just decoration? I ate my sausage roll and coffee there, but they acted like they wanted me to leave. They would ignore comments I made and gave me dirty looks. All the while they had Christian music playing. Somewhat of a disconnect between the workers and the music...

Not a bad little place, and it made its way into my rotation of donut places I revisit. I tried one of the cronuts and it was ok; it didn’t seem fresh. Everything else was great though (plain cake donut, traditional glazed, cinnamon sugar, jalapeño sausage roll and croissant sausage roll). The staff are super friendly as well.
