I visited the farmers market today. People are following social distancing, at the entrance they probe you for any signs of covid 19 by asking simple questions. Stall of fruits, veggies, North bend bakery, balsamic vinegar(different types of vinegar too), frozen crepes and Russian cheesecake(fresh which got over), chips and salsa(different varieties), pork and beef. Not able to remember other stalls. The time visited was between 4-5pm. They are there only on Tuesdays 12 - 6 pm I think as the board says so. Pictures attached. Read moreIt’s small, and compared to Redmond farmers market, the sellers aren’t nearly as kind. Went to Amador farms to buy some plums and the lady checking me out was unpleasant, not to mention when her coworker had some watermelon samples I asked if I could take one and she said in Spanish “a small piece, [she only spent] 3 dollars” not knowing I speak Spanish too. Went to some other sellers and said hi and was received with cold responses if any! Seriously if you want a cute farmers market vibe, just go to Redmond...
Read moreThis is a small but diverse market. Some vendors specialize in Asian offerings. I love the flat Italian green beans, which I find are difficult to locate. The floral vendor has spectacular assortments and they are fresh. Last an entire week for a $15 bouquet. Beats those grocery store flowers. They have expanded the food vendors and offer live music.
