horrible pickup process -
I placed an online order, and it was ready to be picked up after 3 hours. Yup, it takes them 3 hours to fill my order with two items, and one of them is out of stock but they didn't update it on my pickup notification.
I went in, waited in line for it. Then when it was my turn, the cashier was gonna help me out but someone else came to line up, so she told me she has to help her first. So I had to wait for her to finish the order first before she could fetch my stuff in the back. When that was done, she went to the back and brought me one of them items. They weren't gonna give me a receipt so I had no clue the other item was out of stock, so I asked her where that is.. then someone else came and she had to help her first of course, so I waited forever for her to go to the back.. and eventually she came back and told me the item was out of stock so they didn't charge for it. I had no notification of that, so I asked for a copy of that piece of paper with the info, then she told me to take a pix. .
It's weird how disconnected and inefficient this whole pickup process is. And the fact that I had to keep waiting for other people is highly unacceptable and the whole process took 20 minutes or more .. Read moreI was very unhappy about today's experience (1st Feb 2021) at the bellevue location. The Redmond location has more polite employees & much more items on higher discount. Today I found a chocolate cake here with huge white mould on it that they had put in clearance !!!! I waited for 10 minutes for a manager to come , but nobody came . I took it upto checkout area & the biller was unaffected about it & said oh I'm going to throw it now. Mostly, The shelf price tags didn't match the items, Horrible placement of tags , Full priced glasses & mug sets were kept in 50% clearance - no employee checked whether the items really belonged there or not. Cakes & cookies expiring in February still full priced, Mark downs not done, One of the self scanning price check machine was not working & the new employee didn't even know where an alternative spot is she had to go upfront and ask again , a certain level of training is expected about locations in the store itself. Nobody around in the store to get help in the wine section. Huge line upfront & only one employee to check out. I love world market , but the location manager needs to up their game . Read morei came into the bellevue location around 6:30 on sunday and was met with incompetent customer service. Tamami let me stand by the desk without saying a word to me, no hello or what can i do for you. after a few seconds of waiting i explained to her that i was looking for a item which i could not find not on display on the floor, but says in stock online. she then led me on a huge waste of time mission, starting by making me find the product sku online for her, despite my phone taking a solid 5 minutes to load. she ended with not being able to read the right sku, i had to read it for her so she could input it in her device. the original device she started with was dead btw. she then led me around the kitchen area when i asked for her manager. i never met the manager and i doubt there was one present given her behavior. she ended by telling me to place an order online and pick it up tomorrow. world market has lost my business. i use amazon for online deliveries but i wanted this product tonight. the incompetent staff and willingness to waste my time, which i value very much, will lead me to never come back to...
