Took rings in for repairs after smashing them in a door and it being bent into an oval shape and losing diamonds. Was quoted 650 dollars 200 for the diamonds and the rest because “it was going to be very labor intensive to get the ring back to zero.”
After getting my rings back the diamonds were replaced but I was told they couldn’t bend the ring back to its original shape. I asked for a discount on the repair cost and was told they spent 3 days working on the ring. I have pictures of the ring before and after it was dropped off and the ring wasn’t moved even a half a mm. I find it very hard to believe that 3 days were spent working on the ring. Would not recommend taking your jewelry there for repairs, they will just steal you money!
Photos for reference the one with two rings is before and the one with one is after. Will edit review later when I am able to lay my ring in the phone screen and take a picture to show it was not even attempted to be moved.
Thanks for not fixing my ring and stealing my money!
*editing in reference to the comment diamonds and gold made.
I was told originally the work would be labor intensive because to shape it back to original all diamonds would fall out and need to be replaced. This is why I agreed to pay so much so my rings would be fixed. I specifically remember you saying, I mean if they fall out we won’t lose them so you won’t be paying for more diamonds just the labor costs to reset and rework the ring.
He mentioned “staying within my budget” not once did that line come up in conversation. The jeweler took my rings over to the owner and he told her what it would cost, no staying within my budget.
Upon further inspection of the rings when getting them home it had been noted that the second ring that was also bent and supposed to be reshaped all within that 650 price tag was also not reworked.
I walked out of your shop because you attempted to get me to pay MORE money for what you quoted me to do in the first place. I wasn’t going to sit and listen to any further grandiose ideas you were going to bless me with.
Yes in an ideal world I would solder the rings together but I discussed with you that I would not be able to fit my rings on if that happened and any larger size they fall upside down on my finger.
Video uploaded showing shape of the ring after the original incident happened. Current rings that were “worked on for 3 days” are sitting on top of photo on phone. This clearly shows that both rings were...
Read moreI can’t say enough good about Diamonds and Gold!! The entire staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. When we were looking for my ring we were like fish out of water. So many choices!! We were given options on size, shape, clarity and chose the one that fit our budget with no judgement at all.
Since purchasing my ring I take it in twice a year to get it checked out and in between if I am in the area to make it all sparkly again. They are more than happy to clean it up so it sparkles like the day I took it home!
I have received so many compliments on the uniqueness of my band, something I would not have gotten at a chain jewelry store.

Read moreThese guys are absolutely fantastic. I went in to buy a watch. Adam asked me some questions about what I was looking for, and I didn’t know enough about the types of movements or brands to really answer him. He took the time to explain everything to me, teach me how they worked and how they were different, all in a friendly way that never once made me feel ignorant nor belittled (which has been my experience at more than a few other shops). I ended up buying two. I’ve since been in for two repairs of older watches I’ve had, and these guys have consistently taken fantastic care of me. Diamonds and Gold is my one and only jeweler, period. Their customer service and skill have won my customer...
