Stayed there for 9 months and vacated recently.
Cleaning at the beginning: Was taking lease take over but I asked multiple times if they will clean. They told yes many times verbally, specifically by Vanessa. The day I signed contract Vanessa was leaving and they didn’t clean my apartment. Document: they called me and sent me email multiple times to submit same document which I already submitted at the beginning. The last lady called me, even started scolding me over phone. When I insisted I already document, she checked again and found at the file. Not sure how come they can scold a tenant residing there. I even decided to meet the property manager but that lady was not even giving me an appointment. Leaving: While leaving I already had security deposit. The same lady called me and asked me there is additional cost. I was surprised and asked for detail expenses. Then she told me that she is not supposed to call me but giving me a favor. I asked why she is giving me a favor and I don’t need a favor from anybody because I was good tenant, always followed rules. She then called me few more times and asked me to pay additional money. In the meantime it is important to note, my contract was up to 27th February and they took rental amount for full month of February 2019. I was told that their company will review all and pay the balance. Few days back I received a letter from them and they said zero balance. They will not pay me back anything. They verbally committed me that they will clean apartment and I signed contract. After signing contract, I figured out they will not. By that time I already paid application fees to sign the contract. I did cleaning on my own. At the end, they again charged me cleaning fees while it was clean. I wish I can give them ‘0’ rating or negative. I also wrote detailed review so that other people read it before...

Please avoid this apartment!!!
I initially chose this apartment for its proximity to Crossroads Mall and the units I was shown model apartments which were relatively new. When I signed the lease and went for the move-in inspection, I found so many issues to be fixed. Almost all cabinets had some kind of water damage, the microwave was not working, and there was a plank of wood protruding out in the bathroom. Above all this, in the bright day time, we did see few roaches. We complained this to the management and said we cannot move-in until all these issues were fixed and asked for an alternate apartment. But the leasing office people kept saying they need their manager's approval, who was on vacation all that week and never responded to emails too. And the real state of the apartment unit was seen only that night, when we saw an army of roaches coming out of EVERYWHERE: kitchen, bathrooms, and even bedrooms. We were not given any alternate arrangement and the manager never replied to the emergency. The people working in the leasing office are incompetent to solve any issue you report, and they will just say "We don't know. sorry!".
After having an unpleasant experience, I quit the apartment in JUST ONE WEEK. The management will not respond to any request or criticism, so please do not move in here. The rent was also exorbitantly high and it is...

Cons: No play ground/area for kids. No covered parking for cars. (Yes, there are few garage parking slots). No one attends maintenance requests. Classic buildings, you can hear lot of noise, even when you switch on heater. Heater vent is at top, so though heater thermo stat shows temperature is high, you feel cold on bed. (As we aware hot air goes up, so heaters should place at foot level, but not above head level.) Leasing office staff (except Stephani) are reckless and not in a mood to help residents.
Coming to my own experience, during my initial flat (its 1Bed-1Bath) inspection, found issues with carpet, switch board, lights, wall scratches, bath room issues, potentially everywhere there is an issue. After chasing back at leasing office for more than 2 months, was able to get switch board, lights, part of bathroom issue was resolved with multiple visits, every time have to explain entire stuff, no results. Still issues left, but am accustomed to it now.
Dont waste money here.. pathetic management, some of the tenants bribed one of the age old (dont want to name here, but every one in madision can understand who is she :)) leasing agent to book a flat...
