I did enjoy Nina's salon and think what they offer is great but I had called for coffin style nails and was told it wasn't a problem and saw really amazing and short to very long ones done with designs and all, and there's only one person who could do them as long as I guess i had them which was really more standard and unfortunately they broke 3 separate times, i went in and nina was nice enough to try to help fix them. I one time (the 3rd) asked to change the color just for fun since this was my Xmas present to myself and even though I'm told she did not mean it this way in front of a very busy salon one of the artist said loudly why do you want to change your nails it costs money and you said you don't have any money. Very loud across the room while doing someone else's pedicure...I ended up in the bathroom crying. This again was my Xmas present to myself and I never do things like this it had been over 10 years since I got my nails done, I have had so much happen in my life and recently and I was just excited and had saved up. I was embarrassed and hurt and everyone was staring and I got some laughs that was not so great, Nina said she did not mean it the way I took it which I'm not sure how else to take that but I wasn't mad I was just embarrassed and sad and the woman apologized and said she did not mean it any way and even though she said this in a more stern way I said I understand and thank you. Nina offered to color my nails for free which was very, very nice but I needed to get out of there i was too embarrassed; so I got my third nail that had broken fixed and went on my way after thanking all the women for their hard work. I am posting this because if you want coffin nails short to semi medium then sang is great with doing them but I wouldn't go in if you like medium to long and then it was embarrassing what was loudly told to me in a very full salon and I don't appreciate that at all it was not professional or nice. I hope the best for your business and I think you all do beautiful work and I thank you for what I did have but I do wish that what was shown on your page that could be done was more to the truth since I didn't ask for anything extreme comoared to what id seen and asked to double check. I did find somewhere that works better for me but I know you guys did a great job for my Mother who I got a gift certificate for there too so thank you for taking care of my mom and i hopeyou have a...
Read moreI never write reviews so this is really saying something. I recently went into Nina’s after having several bad experiences there, believing strongly that I just came in on days where they just weren’t doing their best work (bumpy nails, waiting forever for service, etc.). I usually stick to one nail tech, but I decided to request anyone for my appointment as I had other things to do that day and didn’t have time to wait. Firstly, they claimed I never made an appointment (which I did online). When I offered to go somewhere else, someone stopped me physically from leaving and convinced me to stay. They then juggled me between several different technicians, constantly offering massages that I stated I did not want. After being cut on my finger by one of the nail techs, I was hoping to get some sort of discount especially because of the trouble they put me through. They only took $5 off of my service and tried to apologize. I have no idea if I spoke to Nina herself but no one ever introduced themselves to me as such. I told them that this has happened to me on several occasions and every time I make an appointment I am forced to wait and watch other walk ins be served before me. The cherry on top of the cake was watching one of their employees (a man) be on their phone texting someone while they are massaging a client. I paid, even tipped when I knew I shouldn’t, and told them I would never be coming back. I still cannot believe that I...
Read moreI chose to try Nina’s nails today after scouring local nail salon reviews since I recently losing my regular nail tech of 5 years, and not having much luck finding a salon that did quality work. We all know, when getting our manicures, we don’t want much. Just a nicely set of shaped and smooth nails that actually look like a professional did them and not ourselves. The latter has been my experience as of late, bouncing from salon to salon. So today, when I went into Ninas, my expectations weren’t high. I just wanted the terrible work done a week ago somewhere else redone. I went in at 10am, and was pleased to find a clean and comfortable shop. The first thing I noticed, it was actually fully staffed. I explained what I was needing and asked the cost. Quoted a price I agreed upon. I was seated with a sweet woman who started in repairing the mess on my hands, a few moments in, she told me that my nails were salvageable, and she could fix them and it was going to cost me even less. Very happy about that!! Appreciated not being taken advantage of. My nail technician was Sang, and she was wonderful. I love her. Her work is impeccable. She has officially become my new gal! I am so pleased with the efficiency and attention to detail as she worked. THANK YOU SANG for your amazing work! I’m so very happy!! 👌🏽 I feel 100% confident recommending this salon and becoming a...
