Stopped at my local Goodwill today. I normally love thrift shopping but today's experience changed my mind on our local Goodwill. I stood at the cash register and waited to be checked out for about 5 minutes while the girls that were working there student a circle 5 feet behind me chit-chatting. When one of the girls finally came to the register I was overcharged, I mentioned being overcharged and she cleared out my entire purchase and rang it in again. I was running out of time as I had to go pick my children up from school. So I paid the amount she gave me the second time being $3 less than the first Total. The really good stuff (like vintage pyrex) never even goes out on the shelf. It is sold online for higher profit. I think it is a huge slap in the face to donators, who are also shoppers. ALSO...the amount of things that are thrown in the dumpster is horrendous. I once saw my donated Christmas items (the stuff I donated) being taken off the shelf because they did not sell, the store attendant told me they were being thrown out....
