LA JAIBA LOCA — Restaurant in Janesville

We just left there and they have the worst service! Yes we understood that it was a Saturday night and it was busy but come on...our experience was awful! We were told to sit wherever we wanted and waited about 20 minutes before a waitress even acknowledged us...and then we waited almost an hour for the appetizers that ended up coming with the food so there was really no point to the appetizers by then. When only 2 orders of 4 orders came, only 1 order was correct.... the kids meal that was a quesadilla and rice never came and my shrimp tacos never came...finally the kids meal came and it came with the wrong side so we had to wait for another side....and I ordered 3 shrimp tacos with rice that never came - mind you that I had to keep reminding our waitress about my tacos and she said she asked the kitchen for them three times??? Finally they brought out three tacos..but they were fish tacos instead of shrimp and she had to send them back. We were all so annoyed that I just canceled the order. The waitress asked me if I wanted to order something else that wouldn’t take so long (we didn’t think shrimp tacos would take long in the first place...) and she didn’t offer any complimentary drinks or anything or even came back to our table to check on us. We had to find her ourselves to get just one box for the kids meal and our check. When we finally received our check we had to wait another 10 minutes for the ladies to figure out the computer screens? We understand that on busy nights things can get hectic but this was...

Myself, my two friends and two of our kids stopped in to get dinner. We were there just under two hours. It took half that time just to get the waters we ordered. The mango margarita on the rocks we ordered was made as a lime margaritas blended. After letting the waitress know we waiting around 20 minutes for a new one to be made. The new margarita was still blended but at least the correct flavor. We ordered cactus with our dinner and it finally was brought to the table after we had already boxed up our meals. Three meals were ordered that were supposed to come with tortillas and none were brought until our meals were boxed up and only enough for one meal. Overall it was poor service. Tables of people who came in after us were getting food and drinks faster and recieved frequent check ins while we sat ignored. Not once were we asked if we wanted refills on our drinks or if they could get us anything. The food itself was okay at best. If you love onions you'll enjoy the food.

At the end of it all we paid a large bill for poor service...

I had been there 3 months before food was good. Today my friend and I come to enjoy the food. My waiter didn't write my order I order a shrimp and oyster cocktail shrimp soup and 1/ order oyster special Oysters special was good but the side green salsa was so salt. Then I got the cocktail notice it had more then oysters and shrimp So it cost a lot more Then I got the shrimp soup It was so much broth a few shrimp and veg. at all and so salty I couldn't eat it. Our waiterafter putting our food down never come over to see how our food was or if we needed anything. We waited only to see our waiter and staff eating on the next table We had to ask if we could get our bill We went to pay it not once did he ask if we enjoy our food or nothing As I told him our food was way to salty Didn't say nothing. Last time I will go there And no the only people there was my friend and me no one come the hold time we where there. Sad that service is no longer as...
