If I could give zero stars I would, my husband a I went to this store hoping to be able to save money in our phone and internet bills as we were advised by spectrum customer service (by that time we had our phone with Verizon and had no issues with them). When we got to the store the individual that “helped me” was Abby (ghetto tattoos on her face, acne scars and the impression of a ton of miles, hard to miss). She assured us that spectrum would buy out our current phones while upgrading our current ones. That I only had to pay for the total tax and new bills since we currently had internet with them. I was in fact going to save money. Unfortunately the deal would only work if we have 3 phones with them. She knew we only had two and yet did not told us of what the consequences were for not having 3 phones with them. Now we’re stuck with them and Verizon because they did not pay the balance of our old phones and if we want to return the phones to spectrum we have to pay full balance of my husband and mine in order for us to leave. At this point we have to bite the bullet and pay Verizon the outstanding balance because we didn’t got help at all from store or customer service. In fact when we came back to the store Abby gave us an attitude and wiggle her way out easily saying that there’s nothing I can do now for you ” in a passive aggressive manner. Read moreIf this outfit did not have a monopoly in this county, I would drop Spectrum in a heartbeat. There is a cable company in Madison that would get my business but it is not available in Rock county. I was in to this store today because of 2 concerns. The first due to the cable box changing to channel 1 overnight, thus causing a problem if you wanted to record something in the morning on another channel. I found out that this was caused by the cable box performing an "update". First time I'd ever heard of this and we have been subscribers to this company for close to 30 years. The second issue involved the number of tuners in a cable box that also has DVR capability. I was told last night, while talking to Spectrum on the phone while walking, that you could get a box with 4 tuners in it. So, based on what I was told, you could record 4 programs and watch another that you were not recording. Alas, I was told by a "know-it-all" at this store that they do NOT have cable boxes with 4 tuners available in this market. In fact, you can only record 1 show and watch 1 other with boxes with 2 tuners or you can record 2 shows and watch nothing at the same time. Now, this information did not agree with what I was told over the phone, talking to the Spectrum employee. Read moreWent there to pay my bill signed in, they called my name and then someone wanted to go and go up there and say oh I need to look at a cell phone. Can you get it out for me instead of the person taking me like they should of done and I'm disabled they went to that gentleman, I'm very dissatisfied with that. Because I thought when you go, you take the customer. You call not the person who just came in and didn't even probably sign in. That made me very turned off by spectrum. Because you're not prioritizing who had been there beforehand you were taking a cut. Another person that wasn't even a customer at that moment, and you didn't even know if they were gonna even start a thing. But you have a sign in box, and people sign in. And you c and then I will send. You're gonna go help someone else. As very inappropriate, it's not customer service. And if there was someone else I could go for my internet. I would go somewhere else because the internet has been choppy as best. And they were out for more than 4 hours. One night and when I called, they said. Oh, if it's more than 4 hours, we'll give you a credit and I didn't get nothing. So we dropped there. Television service and pay weight loss for stuff that we like. And pay a lot cheaper instead of almost $300 a month. We pay 70 plus the internet through them. Which is still cheap enough, but won't even hitting. Maybe 150...
