Let me go ahead and start from the beginning.

I am a 24 year old expecting father. My computer knowledge I would say is fairly decent, I self taught myself a few things, I have friends who know computers and google always helps me out in some tough situations as well.

My computer started having issues that not even my friends or google could explain to me how to fix so I needed to find a professional. I first called around to get quotes with big name companies, i.e. Micro center & Geek Squad in Best Buy. Just to even look at my computer and tell me that it was broken they wanted to charge me $70-75. Just to look, not even to fix. Now like I said I am 24 with a baby on the way and a little debt to pay off still from stupid decisions I made in the past. I didn't have $75 for some one to just look at my computer. I needed to save money where I could, at the same time this was my only PC and I needed it repaired.

So I looked into other options and I ran into Akins PC Repair LLC. Not only did he look and repair my PC, but he also was really fast on completing the work! His price for everything was more then Reasonable as well!!! I was very happy with the results I got.

I only have one critique. It seems as if he is a fairly new business that is working out of his home. When I first enter it was a little messy. Which honestly my personal opinion it is his home and he can keep it how he wishes and it didn't really deter me. But from a Business stand point it may detour other customers. His work, his price, his friendliness, his professionalism, and his speed all made me over look the organized mess and allow me to rate him 5 out of 5 starts. So please if you do use him don't let it scare you away.

Big shout out to Cody at Akins. Last night, I brought my big, 1980’s upright gamer console to him in the late afternoon. It is quite heavy and simply didn’t work. He and 2 other of his friends, who happened to be at the store, helped unload my arcade and got it in the shop. He said he would get to it ASAP. By the time I got home, he was calling me saying it’s ready!!! It needed a whole new screen. He stayed open past closing and again helped me load it back into my truck. The price was VERY reasonable. The coolest part of my story isn’t my experience, though. When I first arrived to get my unit back, he was with another customer. There was a very elderly (90’s plus) gentleman who was having issues with his PC. Cody treated him with respect, dignity and courtesy, although the gentleman was extremely frustrated and a bit angry at an issue unrelated to anything Cody had control over. Nevertheless, the old guy left happy and in good spirits by the way he was treated. You learn a lot about a store owner when you watch him interacting with another customer. I HIGHLY recommend Akins PC Repair and will use him myself...

Cody and his crew are top notch people! I dropped off my iPad for a new screen and when an accident occurred during installation he kept me up to date with what was going on until they were finished and I was able to pick it up. He took the time to message me when parts arrived, when said parts wouldn't work, and even a personal phone call to let me know they ran into the problem! Thanks Cody!

Update) On 5/20/2016 I brought my iPad back to Cody because my screen was trying to pop back out on me and my volume buttons had stopped working, after several attempts Cody and Steven were able to get a proper working button cluster and reglue the screen to the iPad.
