Pizza Tascio Belton — Restaurant in Belton

We went last night to try Tascio in Belton for the first time for my birthday and we will not be back which is unfortunate as the food was decent. I will also encourage everyone else to not go as long as they staff men like the one from last night. My friend went in to order the pizza around 8:20 and the employee did not mention that it would take another 40 minutes to cook the pizza. We were under the impression it was already ready as they sell pizza by the slice. The entire 40 minutes I was sitting in the car with hungry kids. If he had the courtesy to say something we could’ve left and came back to pick up the pizza when it was ready. The entire time my friend waited inside he kept yelling and cursing to himself so I could not bring the kids inside to wait as it was not at all family friendly behavior. She did not bother him the entire time to ask if he knew when the pizza would be done because she was scared of his behavior. She even tipped him $10 thinking he was maybe just having a bad night but his behavior just continued being aggressive. Anytime customers would walk in to pick up online orders he would ignore them. Someone came in to order pizza at 8:40 and he told them it was 10 minutes before close to make the potential customer leave even though there was still 20 more minutes. We ordered pizza Saturday and paid for delivery. When they get to our house, they inform us that they “cancelled one of our pizzas because they didn’t have all the ingredients.” No call. No text. No email asking if we wanted anything different. Nothing. We called the restaurant and they said they could give us a random pizza to make up for it-sure why not at this point. We had to go pick it up because they wouldn’t deliver to us again and they weren’t even open. They left it for us.

A pizza place not open past 9 on a Saturday? You won’t redeliver a pizza after you cancelled it without telling us? Great customer service. I was really excited about ordering this after eating this pizza at Broken Hatchet. Nope. Not worth it.

I have to post my review for this place. We have ordered delivery from them three times, each time not receiving the ranch. I called and spoke to Sean, he apologized and by the end of it I was picking up a ton of ranch and a t-shirt. This is customer service! 👏🏽 These are really great and genuine people that own this place and I hope they are around for a long time to come. They have the best pizza AND the best ranch.
