I am submitting this written complaint regarding a highly unprofessional and concerning interaction I experienced with a manager identified as Ashley. During a recent visit, I inquired about an item that was unavailable for purchase because it was being kept in the back while the manager was cleaning. I respectfully expressed that such tasks should be performed either prior to store opening or after closing hours so as not to interfere with customer purchases.
Instead of addressing the matter professionally, Ashley immediately became hostile. She raised her voice, hung up on me during our conversation, and went so far as to threaten to call the police if I attempted to follow up. This behavior is wholly unacceptable for anyone in a customer-facing leadership role.
Her conduct was not only dismissive and unprofessional but also conveyed a concerning undertone that felt racially motivated. Given the magnitude and reputation of your company, it is alarming that a manager would engage in behavior that reflects bias, hostility, and a disregard for customer experience.
Ashley’s actions demonstrate a clear lack of the judgment, professionalism, and interpersonal skills required of someone in a managerial capacity. I urge your corporate office to thoroughly investigate this incident and take appropriate corrective measures.
Please confirm receipt of this complaint and advise me of the steps that will be taken to ensure this type of conduct is...
Read moreI LOVE ulta. I have been shopping at this store For years. Mainly their designer perfumes and drug store options. The reason why I give this store a 3 star is because the staff is a little overwhelming.
I come to ulta to get some quiet time away from my toddlers I’m with all day. And as soon as I enter the store I am bombarded with compliments and questions.
Maybe to other people this would come off as high spirited but being a introvert it incredibly Uncomfortable.
I’m not sure if they follow you around with the thousand of suggestions to make sure you don’t steal or what but it can be quite annoying.
The ladies are sweet but even if I tell them I’m on the phone I’m still bothered with “what you looking for” or “oh i love your eyebrows”.
Everytime I come into this store I am anxious and feel rushed to purchased. Which in turn I have to come back and exchange what I bought because i didn’t want it to begin with.
I’m not sure about their policy, but I think I make it clear that I want to be left alone, shop quietly and when I need help I know how to ask.
Beautiful ladies, but it’s a very overwhelmingly anxious experience every single time.
I would like to enjoy my shopping in peace without being asked what foundation I wear, what eyebrow pencil I use or who does My nails.
Just wanted to send a heads up to the staff. Some of us introverts do not appreciate the overwhelming help. Especially when it isn’t...
Read moreI've spent a ridiculous amount of money at Ulta over the years. I use to get my hair done at a different Ulta location and spend well over $200 a visit. I've also bought my share of premium makeup, skin care, and hair care products over the years from the Ulta company. So I have a question.....does your store not use video cameras to capture theft? Do you train your employees to stand directly behind someone who's making a decision to purchase items so they can be treated like a potential criminal? I was just like wow really? Granted, I came into the store after work wearing my work clothes, but I felt very insulted to be treated this way. The woman watching me was too rude to ask if I needed help, and I had to take the nail dip kit to the checkout to find out the price because it wasn't on the shelf. The young lady who checked me out was very nice and professional though. I think you just have a problem employees at this location who doesn't like your customers. I'd suggest you'd keep an eye on her to make sure she's not stealing from your company. She looks a lot more like the type to...
