Stone & Cabinet International - Mid Atlantic — Local services in Beltsville

I am writing this in 2019 but our experience with Tanya Toparlak with Stone and Cabinet International occurred in 2010. Yes, their end-to-end service and products were that memorable.

We had been investigating different stores to help with design of and installation of cabinets and a countertop for a small studio apartment. Many of the larger stores had no time nor interest for our small job.

Dejectedly leaving one of the big stores, I drove by Stone and Cabinet, walked in and was greeted by Ms Toparlak. She immediately sat me down, listened to our proposed plans and design, contemplated if our design would work, plugged in dimensions, made minor adjustments, printed out a design plan, and showed me a plethora of material options. Also the price was right!

Then the installation team (2 individuals) came out on scheduled day and completed the job in one day! As with all construction sites there were a few field related issues that the team were able to efficiently problem solve to get the job done.

After everything was said and done, my husband and I enjoyed the quality of the countertop and cabinets better in the studio apartment than in our very own house!

Shopping here was an awesome experience! If only every shopping experience was...

Am I a superhero with the power of invisibility?? How do you stay in business without so much as a greeting, what about I'll be right with you? Fifteen minutes...clearly they can see you, because you can see them--it's a very small open space and maybe 2 customers there during my midweek visit. Give them another try my referrant said, I cannot make this up...once again a carbon copy of my previous experience. I refuse to make myself noticeable (when the staff clearly see me and walked by me several times) so someone can earn my business. Perhaps, their belief is I'm one of many fish in a sea of customers...opinion. My belief....they are one of many in a sea of...

We updated our kitchen with new cabinets and granite counter tops. We were dealing with Melinda. They were very easy to deal with, extremely affordable, and did excellent work...Not just for the price. You wouldn't be able to tell the difference between this work or a kitchen you might get for twice the price. Exact same quality. Melinda even gave us a printed out computer generated model of our kitchen before we decided to do it. I would definitely recommend using this company if you are updating your kitchen! They did my parents kitchen as well and did an excellent job there.
