I love going to Roy's every time I'm in Bemidji. They have an incredible selection of comics, old and new and everything in between. I find several gems everytime I go. Their selection is also incredibly well organized. Very reasonable prices and helpful staff. A family run store that's worth checking out. An essential stop for any comic book fan. Lots of stuff to look at and plenty of rarities and oddities. Dark and disorganized, like a storage locker threw up. Very messy. Pricing seems really arbitrary, I bought a Battletech novel here for a dollar that sells for like seventy dollars online but many comic back issues seem way overpriced. Strangest of all, the store contains a whole bunch of merchandise that apparently isn't actually for sale??? Store seems to double as the owner's storage locker, but with everything mixed together. Literally cannot recall being in a single other store...

Massive selection (almost too much) with friendly employee (only seen one), but points knocked off for overall store appearance.

The place is a mess. Whether it's tables laying around with random comics scattered throughout them, or all the handwritten labels attempting to alphabetize everything, the environment is not appealing. It honestly gave me a "garage sale" vibe.

I'd love to see someone do some organization in there, maybe even creating a "back room" for sorting or whatever.
