BEWARE brides this is not the place! Unless you like being pushed to buy something you don't want. March 23rd I found the dress but it was in ivory and I wanted white. They really pushed for me to get it in ivory, I tried on a blush dress and they also pushed for me to get that. Eventually they told me that they would order the dress in white for me and my mother put $1100 down on the dress. A few days later, they gave me a phone call stating that they could only get the dress in a size 2 if I wanted it in white, I am a size 14. Again, they pushed for me to get the dress in ivory and they offered me to come back in to look at dresses. April 8th I came back in and could not find a dress, they gave me their order book and told me I could select two dresses to order in to try on. I tried on the first and I felt like it was not the dress. The second one wouldn't get there till mid-june. In that time waiting for the second dress, I found my dress at a different shop. My mother asked for a refund, and the owner refused she wouldnt even give half back but she offered to apply the $1100 as store credit. She said my bridesmaids can come in and look at stuff. We tried but I could not find what I wanted but I did get a veil which was $250. My mother asked for a refund again and she refused even when we stated that we have tried but she took our money when she couldn't guarantee she could fill my order. Once she realized she could not fill my order she should have given us a refund. We also told her that she was forcing the bride to have stuff in her wedding she did not want by hanging the money over their head like that. She eventally cut a check for $300 and kept the remaining $550. It's odd she offered $1100 worth of store credit but would not give the full $1100 back. I will gladly remove this review if she were to give back my mother the remaining $550. This is the only place I go to buy dresses in Bemidji! The woman who runs it is so kind, and always goes out of her way for us. She is infinitely patient, and somehow always manages to find a dress for me in my price range. She has a really good idea of what looks good on what body types. Often she'll have me try on dresses I wouldn't usually select myself, and I'm frequently surprised by how well they work on me. I've tried the other shops in town, but I'm never satisfied with them, and I always end up right back...
