4/6/21 I went in with my dad and sister around ... 3-4pm maybe(?) and we had a very sweet and patient cashier (we took a while to decide and order, which I know can be a pain) who also remembered what each of us ordered when she brought our food out and set it down correctly in front of each of us. I was a server & cocktail waitress, so seat # memory is not lost on me and I was impressed by that. I left an expensive leather jacket in the booth for a good hour or more after arriving home before realizing it. So I went back during dinner rush when they were busy and joined the line super anxious cause I don’t have lots of nice things lol. The same lovely cashier recognized me and magically appeared with my jacket and handed it to me without me even asking or me waiting even 10 seconds.
So, 1) yes it’s great Mexican food and their hot sauce is so nice! But also, 2) I should have gotten your name, you deserve kudos girl! I hope your manager sees this and can identify you and give you props. Thanks so much! I am super attached to my favorite jacket of many yrs, and dat Tex-Mex haha, so 5 stars all around :) you’d make great tips in fine dining style serving, so maybe...
Read moreAfter a long day our good friend offered to take us for dinner and said this place had good margaritas and food . My husband and I had never eaten here. We go in no greeting just asked what we wanted to order , our friend ordered 2 margaritas ,chicken tacos , my husband ordered pork tacos and I ordered the chicken enchilada platter and we ordered queso while we waited for our food. Our friends first margarita was good he said but the "queso" was like cheese flavored milk . Disgusting !!! Was like water ! My husband's tacos were very bland and he didn't even finish his food , my enchiladas were gross because of the "queso" rice was very weird tasting. Friends 2nd margarita had no lime or salt on the rim. We asked about the "queso" and our server said we make it everyday what do you want me to do ? We felt it a waste of time to ask for manager and we left .My husband and I will never visit this...
Read moreWe like the mango margaritas and enjoy the queso and chips. We love that 3 Parrots hosts the Benbrook Library's Trivia Night. The vibe is great and the staff are very nice.
However, we would really like to eat our dinner while there but the entrees seem to miss the mark. No flavor where even something as simple as adding salsa to a quesadilla would be an improvement. Quesadilla only had shredded cheese and boring chicken (with up to 2 inches of nothing around the edges), served with sour cream and shredded lettuce. All for $8.49. Salsa is extra and not even mentioned by the person who took my order. I ended up doucing it in a table side sauce. The food should not rely solely on condiments for flavor. Bowls also leave something to be desired. Maybe someone is under seasoning the meat? Shake on some paprika, cook the meat in a little salsa, add an avocado...
