A agree with the review below CHECK YOUR RECIEPT - I was not going to make a review because mistakes happen but then I saw someone else mention the same thing happened to them.
I had grabbed some fruit from the sale bin a couple weeks ago (the bin of for old or deformed produce)… I mentioned to the gal ringing me up how cool that is that they don’t toss them. The items were supposed to be .75 each as they were on there last leg and needed to be used soon. I figured I would make soup. Anyhow after all that got home and was charged full price for everything. I was like $10 extra. When I went back the next day (I called and no one answered about it) the same gal was there and she kind of acted like I was being an annoyance to ask for a price adjustment. I even reminded her of our conversation and brought back the produce so she could see. She kind of seemed to be questioning me. I know mistakes happen but I don’t think the gals there really have a close eye on things. And the one that helped me certainly didn’t come off as considerate about small amounts of money, like it wasn’t worth her time, but to some people it is and that isn’t good business for a “local” “community” market.
If you need something specific and shop here just be sure to check your receipt. I think market of choices bulk section is really amazing and the spice section at local acres is really incredible too, if you are looking for more unusual...
Read moreI leave a 1 star for the unprofessional attitude and arrogance of the Employee Spencer. I was waiting in line to buy some vitamins yesterday and Spencer took it upon himself to walk away from the register to threaten to not serve a young lady since her mask was just below her nose. Her bag was full and she was next in line. He not only threatened to not serve her, he stood very close and reiterated his threat with a very authoritative tone and posture. He went back behind the counter and called me forward. I politely stated she was next in line. The young girl spoke and said "you could have asked politely for me to adjust my mask", yet he completely ignored her reaching for my item. I spoke sternly, declining to hand over my item and said, "Don't be rude, she is speaking to you and you do not have to ignore her!". Spencer offered her a card to the manager and said" you can call her, because if you call the store I will be the one answering the phone. (Again very arrogantly). I was almost to the point of leaving without my purchase however my partner just had a baby and I needed this item. I will not be shopping there again, and I will also be posting a review with my Church, the VFW in bend and Redmond and with a few other groups to not shop there. No customer service representatives need ever speak to a paying...
Read moreBEWARE: CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS.. In the last few weeks on several occasions when checking my receipts I found I was overcharged $2 to $6 at least six times.. The prices they have posted may not reflect what you are being charged. One time I purchased a bottle of fill yourself garlic powder and it was $3 the next time I filled up the same bottle with garlic powder and it was was $5 but the price of the garlic powder per pound each day was the same. Today I was charged a certain price per pound for broccoli but she actually never weighed the broccoli. Several times I said nothing. Two times I brought this to the cashiers attention and both times she looked frustrated and said, "Oh well that just happens the prices change and we don't change the signs." There was no apology nor an offer to refund me the difference of what was posted and what I paid. This lack of integrity at Locavore is alarming. I definitely won't shop there anymore and will take my business to the local farmers market, I did ask for a...
