This is by far my favorite park in Bend. The parking is ample always shaded because of the huge gorgeous pine trees. It has a nice cemented picnic area and just a gorgeous landscape grass.
Access to the water not that I would suggest swimming. Iām sure the adventurous soul could if they wanted.
Further down the walkway is a beautiful landscaped and manicured path. Lots of pets bags dispensary and trash cans to put them in.
Truly gorgeous views Deschutes as farther down the path is more of the rapids.
The park is also large enough that you donāt feel encroach done.
Can be a little tricky to get into but easy to get out and almost dead center downtown Bend!
Definitely come see this park...
Ā Ā Ā Read morethis location ended up being a great spot for an event I was a part of. Pioneer Park had plenty of room for the size of meeting that we needed. It was a neat setting and we were able to decorate in an easy way. The park was definitely clean. Although there was a couple issueswith a few lamps. The grass hill on the other side of the parking lot was a great place to hang out in the river is flowing slowly in that area so we did not have to worry as much about the children, but we definitely kept them close if they wanted to get...

The only reason I didnāt give it five stars is because they donāt have a playground for littles and my lazy behind has to walk farther to take my nephew to a park when he wants to play. Itās a gorgeous park to bring a blanket and read a book or have a picnic, make grass angels in the perfect green grass, maybe not, itās kind of soggy in a couple spots. Still perfect green with big...
