Read morePleasant place right in the middle of the city. It always amazes me the gorgeous mountain views about 3 1/2 miles in! Can get a little crowded on weekends but that's to be expected of such a pretty and easily accessible running/biking path. Word of advice: keep your dog's on leash! Also, the path goes for about a mile and seems to end abruptly at the top of the golf course. Keep going down the hill and cross the street at the bottom to keep on the trail for another 3 miles till the end. Overall, it's a great 8 mile running loop with a couple good hills here and there and packed trail terrain...
Read moreThis park is so cool! When we went there was plenty of street parking. The trails along the sides of the river are well kept, there are many easily accessible little alcoves along the river to set up a spot. The river itself has rapids in one area (as the name suggests) but is otherwise relatively calm, although the water still flows quickly outside of the area of rapids.
