I have been going to O&A in Bennett for several years now. Dr. Van is my main go to! She is always pleasant, treats me like we're old friends, and the thing I like the most is she is always conservative in her approach for what I need done. She only does what is necessary. She gives great suggestions, but no pushiness at all! Also, she really cares about what she sees in my mouth. While working on one tooth, if she sees something that she can make a little better on another one, she does it. Today, she polished and evened out a nearby tooth that had a small stain and looked a little "high".
She has had different assistants over the years and they have all been professional, kind, and super supportive. Today, Dalia found every drop of water that was dripping down my face and neck. That happens a lot when they are working on the front teeth and I've gone home with a wet neck many times in other offices. Not with Dalia! She was super attentive in that way, even with everything else she had to focus on.
In emergencies, I've also had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Stott and Dr. Smith. I get nervous with someone I haven't seen before, but have had nothing but wonderful care from them as well.
All of the assistants have been great over the years. Their front staff are also kind and welcoming. I very rarely have to wait for an appt. unless I've been squeezed in as a same day appt. which is certainly understandable. To top it off, they have exceptional hours that can work for anyone! Give them a try. You won't be...
Read moreWhile everyone at the Bennett location is super friendly and nice, there are no complaints there. However, they seem to have system issues with their insurance verification process. First appt had to reschedule because they couldn't find my policy, and my carrier doesn't send cards, so I thought maybe I'm not really with who I thought I was since she can't locate me, so I go to work Monday, pull my dental info and, just like I thought, the same insurance I've always had, so I get a copy of the card and email it, great, no more issues right? Wrong, kids get their annual cleaning and xrays done, and then they want to charge me for it. Even though I pulled up the proof online in my insurance portal, xrays and cleanings/exams are covered at 100%, and I even provided the billing codes. I have never paid for preventative care, and now they're saying almost $300 is due? Why would I have Dental insurance if I wanted to pay out of pocket prices as if I don't have it? To then get told, we will submit this to your insurance, but can't guarantee you won't get a bill from us. I better not get a bill! So this is either a seriously flawed system, or there needs to be more training done on the verification process. Either way, we probably will not be back, I've never had the insurance issues I've had at this location, anywhere. Especially when I know I'm right...
Read moreI feel that it can be difficult and confusing to find good care providers that accept Medicaid but this place has been such a blessing for me. I have genuinely never had a good experience with a dentist until coming here & arrived with a lot of incompetent work from previous providers that needed to be fixed. The doctors are extremely patient and communicative. My first appointment Dr.Smith sat with me for an hour just answering my questions so that I could figure out what care route would be most beneficial for me. I really appreciated it because navigating necessary medical care & making the correct decisions can be intimidating and stressful, especially after years of poor experiences. He also extracted a tooth for me which went more smoothly than I could’ve ever expected. Dr.Stott performed everything else I needed within one appointment (1 root canal & 2 fillings), he made sure I was comfortable & unable to feel anything the entire time. He communicated the steps he was going through & what else I could expect from the appointment. All in all very grateful to have found this place & would recommend going here for...
