Tacos El Guero — Restaurant in Bennett

After reading reviews, I had high hopes for a fantastic street taco experience. I walked here from the truck stop. It’s a rinky dink little shop with a trailer kitchen outside. Order inside, and they’ll call out the number of tacos you ordered outside at the taco trailer. The tacos were mediocre, the meat was moist and seasoned (definitely with MSG) but there wasn’t much meat. They’re like 3 bite tacos. 4 max. They use packaged corn tortillas, and double tortilla each taco. They lightly sprinkle each taco with some onions and cilantro and gave me one (not juicy) lime wedge for all 3 tacos and one salsa. My husband stoped for the day in Bennett, Colorado and I was craving some authentic Mexican tacos. These were probably one of the best tasting tacos I’ve had. $3- $3.50 per taco does seem a little pricy but the tacos are double tortilla and the meat portion is very generous compared to most street tacos I’ve had. so definitely worth it!
