Rent-A-Center — Local services in Bennington

DO NOT come to this rent a center ! If I could give negative stars I would ! I could not be more unhappy with my experience here . First they lie about the price, then show up hours later then the set time, I immediately notice the couch has a very foul rotten smell , rips and burns. A few days later I notice deep scratches and water damage as I’m wiping the tv . The tv is twice as big as what I asked anyway , barely works and is noisy ! I then notice the tv is Broken - popping out from the side !! I contact customer service and the owner tells me not to call his boss again to only call him ! What else am I supposed to do ? They show up HOURS late Again - I sign papers for new furniture , he brings it in and then the guy tells me I caused the damage and leaves with my new furniture ? But he’ll give me a deal (so youve basically put me in a situation where I’m forced to pay for your junk that I don’t want , that you clearly didnt want , that you’ve dumped on me ) So here I am on the phone with his boss again . $200 a month for used /broken furniture when the agreement was 150 ? I want my money back ! I should’ve known better from what I’ve heard from...

I always appreciate the assistance I get anytime I call and talk with Mike or Daniella. They’ve been understanding when I’ve been able to make only 1/2 or a bit more of a payment for my biweekly charge and catch up the following payment (I work in the public school system so summer is tough financially). They are always working to find a way to help and are always friendly, courteous, and understanding. It’s very appreciated. Everyone has struggles and having a good team that is open to working while not making you feel more stressed financially is why I will continue to use Rent a Center for my needs. They put the effort in to work with you, and it goes a long way as to why I continue with Rent a Center. This Rent a Center is awesome 😎 We have paid a few things off over the years, and are about to get some more things to help with our move. They always help us find the best quality for our family that also fits in our budget plan. When going in person they enjoy a bit of chit chat and always make you feel welcomed and part of the RAC family. Danielle and Mike are great! Even the rest of the staff always polite and willing to help. One point our AC unit was not working proper the staff was willing and sat on my porch for almost 2 hours taking it apart and fixed it on the spot. No other places I know have done this or would it's always they'll send it away or some other nonsense, not this store right there fixing and helping out. Thank you 😌 You all are...
