Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Bennington

My wife and at times I have visited this Pizza Hut in Bennington Vermont, on trips to see family or go shopping because we are from Massachusetts. The place seemed as updated as an actual Pizza Hut restaurant can be. The meal started off well enough, with some pure sugar sour "Raspberry Lemonade" for my daughter and I and no chocolate milk on theyre truck this week for my son, my wife's soda seemed fine. Large order of bread sticks 2, 6 piece orders of wings and a large pizza were ordered and after 20 mins we got our breadsticks. It was another solid 20 mins before any one else came out of the kitchen and when food did come out, it was wings, to a table that sat down a good 20 mins after we did. As the waitress of the table brought they're wings I asked, simply and very politely if I could please speak to my waitress, the rude woman barked back at me that, my waitress was in the middle of taking a to go order, then incredulously I said well I'm wondering where my wings are it's been a while since we had our bread sticks and she proceeds to yell at me "I'm running the wings for her I'll get them as soon as I can" I said "this is why I asked to speak to my witress" Rude lady turns around yelling into the kitchen "Get those wings out here now" Causing my 2 small children and wife to feel very uncomfortable. Our waitress soon brought our wings refilled my drink and came back, by this time and hour has passed and tells us our pizza will be out in a few mins another 20 mins passed, enough time for me to have a full cigarette and come back inside to no pizza. Our waitress returns at about the 90 min Mark and tells us that our pizza was never put in, at this pointed I wanted to leave without paying but my wife convinced me otherwise. We waited another 10 mins and a pizza was comped for us and we left with it drove back to mass and reheated the garbage in the oven. The pizza would have been great there and the wings weren't bad. I have gone to this Pizza Hut since it opened. Unfortunately the last 3 experiences have been far from the standards Pizza Hut USED to provide. The store was very dirty, tables had not been really "CLEANED" in a long while. The high chairs were grungy so I held the 2 year old which made me enjoying my meal difficult. I felt bad on one visit because they were obviously short staffed and the 2 employees were answering the phone, cooking, and trying to take care of tables. My visit took 1hour and 40 minutes....most of which was waiting to be waited on, waiting for drinks, waiting for order to be taken, and waiting for food...then waiting for check...which I finally went to counter to pay. This last visit showed a couple employees working and the lady at counter was VERY nice and doing her very best. My food was ready upon arrival( I ordered on line for pick up as the last visit was SO BAD). I did not see if store was cleaner or not but I hope they are moving...

We placed an order online ahead of time so it would be ready when we arrived as we had somewhat limited time. We didn’t pay online as we planned to eat there and also add drinks.

They would not allow us to eat the food we ordered from them in the restaurant because we ordered it ahead, stating “we don’t let people order ahead and then eat here because people don’t always show up.” We however had already ordered online and had not paid yet so this didn’t make sense. We told them we already ordered and hadn’t paid and planned to add drinks but we ordered ahead because of knowing we had limited time. We asked since we were already there and we still wanted to add more if there was anyway we could eat there. They very rudely again said they won’t allow people to order ahead and dine in. We ended up paying for what we ordered and had to sit in our car and eat in the parking lot This is a ridiculous rule and the server was very...
