I am writing this to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the recent experience I had at your pharmacy. My daughter was diagnosed with strep throat on Monday, 01/16/2024, and her pediatrician prescribed her 10mg of amoxicillin twice a day for 10 days.
When I picked up the prescription from the drive-thru, I received two bottles of medication, each containing 200mg of amoxicillin, along with a syringe.
Given that my daughter was prescribed 20ml of amoxicillin per day, I naturally assumed that the syringe provided would be 10ml in volume. However, it was only after a week of administering the medication that I realized the syringe I had been given was only 1ml. This was contrary to my previous experiences with your pharmacy, where I have always been provided with a 10ml syringe for the same medication. As a result, my daughter had received only about 2 days' worth of medicine instead of being on her 8th day of treatment.
I cannot stress enough how concerning and alarming this situation is. The health and well-being of my child are of utmost importance to me, and I trust that as a reputable pharmacy, CVS would prioritize the accuracy and safety of medication dispensing. My daughter is now sick again because she did not receive her antibiotics correctly due to the fault of your company. This is completely unacceptable.
I request that CVS Pharmacy takes the necessary steps to ensure that such errors do not occur in the future. It is crucial that your pharmacists are held accountable for their actions and that measures are put in place to prevent this from happening to other customers.
I hope that you will take my complaint seriously and address this...
Read moreMy husband went into your store this morning to pick up an item for me and was treated rather poorly. The first person he encountered in the store, was giving him a look like the person thought my husband was going to steal something, and that really upset my husband. My husband is 67 and was there to purchase items not just for me, but for us, so he did not take this look very kindly. He specifically asked this person for some help in finding Hanukkah candles, but the person looked at my husband like he had five heads! despite not being able to find the candles that he was looking for, he proceeded to locate a 12-hour cough remedy for me which he was able to find. When he got to the cashier area, he was treated with more disrespect by the cashier, because he was using a special credit card that's for over-the-counter medication purchases. It seemed as if according to my husband that this person was begrudgingly helping him in this area, and my husband really did not appreciate it. It's one of the many reasons why he stays in the car while I'm the one that does the shopping. I wish I could have been there to help out with this, but I am not feeling good which is why he was purchasing this cold...
Read moreThey have the most ignorant pharmacist working there I don't know her name. All the other people in the pharmacy are very nice. But this one pharmacist needs a lesson in phone etiquette! A big lesson!! She's so RUDE! So rude that I want to transfer all my prescriptions!!! I told her that and she said fine just have the new pharmacy call me. She didn't even apologize for being so rude. Or for me being so dissatisfied with her attitude. She makes you feel like she is doing you a big favor. I was on speaker phone and even my husband ask what is her problem? I said I don't know, she's always mean and acts like she's doing me a big favor. I don't know why she makes good enough money that she doesn't have to treat people like that! I'll be leaving there soon as I find another pharmacy that delivers same day.
Plus my husband scheduled his flu and COVID shot there. He took off work early so he could make the appointment only to be told they were out of the vaccine. How rude!!!
Update
Now things have gotten even worse. You can no longer call them directly. You have to call, leave a message, and they will ( supposedly) call you back. So far it's...
