Parx Racing — Local services in Bensalem Township

It was our first time on the horse racing side. They are very beautiful and majestic animals. The people were friendly and enthusiastic about thay days racing bets.

The one thing we didn't know was thay you need to buy the racing books which were $1.50 each. Then you look and see who's running each race of the day. We stayed for 4 races which was about 2 races per hour. We had concessions which was 4 people and about $28 for fries and soda.

We were at the side where the horses finish the race. That race to the finish is electric in the atmosphere. I would sit on that side again. Then you were able to see them get washed down and given water after each race. Plus the winners circle is in thay side as well.

I would even recommend this activity for a day away and you don't have to spend money just enjoy the scenery. You can not bring in outside food but you can still have fun with the other people there. Will go back just to enjoy a...

As an avid gambler, this casino will not see one dime of my money, which is really the silver lining in the cloud. I am a trucker. I pulled in the very back of the lot close to where the construction in the older parking lot is that is under construction. I was 25 minutes from going into violation so I decided to just park close to my drop. I’m sleep and BAM BAM BAM…… Ma’am, you cannot park your truck with this trailer on this lot but you can drop your trailer and bobtail back if you want to go in the casino. He sends me around by the hotel where there are 1000 signs that said NO TRACTOR TRAILER PARKING………while the casino had no signs posted. The security guard would only drive me so far and point me the rest of the way, so he wouldn’t be caught on video telling me to go there I guess. Idk………… Very nice outside, really can’t review actual casino, but the lack of empathy of someone working a full shift and not be able to sleep...

Horse racing at its best. Clean track area. The food and betting area are clean and well lighted. Comstant floor care and sweeping keeps betting areas clean. Good atmosphere and wide selection of food at food areas. Friendly staff. Large free parking area with handicap parking lot with handicap parking and access to clean public restrooms with handicap bathroom and stalls. Free admission. Wheelchair accessible.
