It is a shame that I cannot give this place 5 stars like I have done with the other 2 restaurants at the Casino in the past. I blame the Chef for not supervising his cooks correctly because at the end of the day is HIS name on the front page of this place. I ordered take out, and I had the Smoked Chicken, and since the menu doesn't have descriptions, I didn't know that I was getting breaded chicken, which is not bad if it would've been cooked correctly but it was overcooked, it was described as having jalapeño and red peppers, but it had a very few slices of jalapeño and no red peppers. But the worse offender were the 'Asian vegetables' completely overcooked to death. Even at Panda Express I can get Chinese vegetables crunchy and colorful (and they are cooked by teenagers). These were soft and mushy, come on!! they ruined the bok choy that I really wanted to enjoy, and the broccoli and green peppers were so soft, same with the snow peas... really disappointing. I am not poor, but it bothered me to throw away $9 worth of nice vegetables that were killed by heat. If they gave me vegetables that were sitting on heat for too long, then it is even worse! I still want to try something else and I will go back to give them another chance, but will not order again the vegetables......
Read morewhen we arrived at 5pm, there was no bartender there, so we could only order beer or wine, no mixed drinks. we ordered sushi and spring rolls as an appetizer which were fine, nothing special but tasted fresh even though the presentation was nothing special. we ordered their house fried rice and the japanese ramen for dinner, both looked and tasted like they were microwaved. the fried rice lacked any sort of seasoning, had no vegetables, and was still cold to the touch in areas. the ramen was terrible. it came with three very tough, fatty slices of grey-colored pork, old hard boiled eggs, the broth was oily and flavorless, the noodles were glued together in a wad like they were from days ago. this place looked nice, our waitress was pleasant, but overall this was a terrible experience. we hardly ate a bite of our dinners and the price was over $100. this price included a glass of chardonnay (which was one of the worst wines i’ve ever had, i did not drink it), and two beers (the second one was ordered because i was not drinking that nasty wine!) will not ever...
Read moreWe have been going to the Bambu noodle house before it’s even named Bambu. Their food is very good. Since we don’t go there regularly, we always order the same dishes. The sautéed string beans is our favorite. It just has the right amount of aroma, spices, and sweetness. It’s also perfectly cooked. That’s a dish I wish I could duplicate at home. Their Beef Chow Fun and Singapore Rice noodle have the authentic Cantonese taste. We always order them. In addition, their Chicken with Black bean sauce and the Sweet and Sour pork are wonderful. Their prices are not bad considering it’s inside the casino. I would suggest to take advantage of their lunch combo and happy hours specials. And you can always pay for the food with your casino comp dollars. We are always happy when we see Qian Zhao. Qian has been a server there for years. She’s always nice, pleasant, and make you feel very welcome. Her service is excellent. Each time we see her, I know it’s a going to be good day for us...
