Kohl's — Local services in Benton Charter Township

This Kohl’s /Sephora Is great I had gift cards to both of the places so I was browsing the clothes section and I saw the perfect T-shirt so I ran over To the section that the T-shirt was in but to my surprise You’re not supposed to run For obvious reasons, and because I ran, I hit my head on one of the racks (see photo of where I hit my head😀)100% my fault, but I sat there on the floor and cried for a few minutes Finally, my parents came up to me and they asked if I was ok Responded with yes We are on our way on the way home. I completely forgot about my T-shirt so a couple days later I came back and bought the T-shirt. Great quality.+2 stars Moving onto the Sephora portion also great 👍🏼 But there’s one thing I went to Sephora inside Kohl’s And what did I see but an army of Sephora kids they used the products STRAIGHT OUT OF THE CONTAINER! That’s not very sanitary, but it’s their face not mine so I let them do their thing. Super nice employees ask them and myself if they needed help I responded. Yes, I’m looking for a tiny rare beauty blush. They showed me where I could find one, but my surprise they were out of my price range. 😱 (-1 star) But guess what I found a dupe!(+1 star) Great thing I found that dupe! Anyways, I’m pretty sure the Sephora kids ate all of the milk jelly blushes because when I was there, they were almost all gone out of the testers. I probably would’ve purchased one but once again they were. OUT OF MY PRICE RANGE and SEPHORA TESTERS WERE EMPTY That might sound like bad news, but it’s actually not because I don’t need blush here’s why…… so I was testing out the old Janeiro section and my mom was with me and I said how do you like this 72 spray and then I realized I messed up I said the wrong number so I was embarrassed so my cheeks were naturally red that’s why I don’t need milk jelly blush🤗+1 star (Seee photo of being embarrassed 😳)Also, the Sephora employees and the Kools employees are incredibly nice, but sometimes (and I’ve noticed this at all of the Sephoras) Just kind of stalk you they’ll ask you if you need help you’ll say no and then they’ll just kind of watch you. It’s especially scary when you’re the only one in the store but it’s kind of Embarrassing when there’s other people in the store and you’re trying to and you’re like I’m not even know how I use it and the people just silently judge you and you’re worried they’re gonna try to get mad😭. Walking into Kohl's that afternoon was supposed to be a routine shopping trip, but it quickly turned into a frustrating ordeal. As I wandered through the aisles searching for a specific brand of jeans, I noticed that many shelves were disorganized, with items haphazardly strewn about. It made finding anything akin to a treasure hunt in a messy room.

After finally locating the jeans I wanted, I proceeded to the checkout counter. That's when things took a turn for the worse. The cashier seemed disinterested, barely acknowledging my presence as she scanned the items. When I asked about a discount that was supposed to apply to one of the items, she sighed heavily and called for a manager.

The manager arrived after what felt like an eternity, only to inform me that the discount was no longer valid, despite it being advertised just the day before. Frustrated but trying to keep my composure, I asked if there was anything they could do. The manager shrugged and said there was nothing she could do to honor the discount.

Feeling defeated and sensing the mounting irritation behind me in the queue, I reluctantly paid the full price and left the store, vowing to think twice before returning to Kohl's. The whole experience left me disheartened, realizing that customer service and organizational standards at that location had clearly fallen short of...

Doesn’t deserve a single star. Went to sephora in this store and got accused of stealing. I had my own lip balm that I brought in, that they didn’t even have in it in stock here. How could I steal something they don’t even have. Some white lady with purple in her hair who can’t do her job right wrongfully accused me of stealing. Was asked if I was stealing I said no because I wasn’t. I told them to check the cameras and look for themselves, they did. Then they go on to accuse my little sister for stealing. So was it me or her??? Literally didn’t even know what they were talking about, they were just accusing left and right. Attitude was given from the floor workers and the manager over the phone. I told the manager I was wrongfully accused of stealing in this store. Manager over the phone said “is there something I can actually help you with?”. This has never happened to me and it was handled extremely poorly. Hire better employees that can do a simple task and not just accuse left and right. We were the only people of color in there and of course WE got accused. We got asked to leave after this because they didn’t feel like “dealing with it”!! This place is a JOKE. No type of professionalism...
