Visiting Walton’s 5 & 10 Museum was such a neat experience. It’s a great stop for families, anyone interested in Walmart’s history, or just looking for something unique to do in Bentonville AR. Located right on the town square, this small but memorable museum offers a fascinating look into the humble beginnings of Sam Walton and how Walmart got its start.
Even though I’ve been here before, I was pleasantly surprised to find that some of the displays had changed, which made the visit feel fresh and enjoyable. The exhibits are free to explore and filled with vintage merchandise, personal memorabilia, and interactive displays that highlight Sam Walton’s values and vision. It’s both educational and nostalgic. The adjoining store and retro soda fountain add to the charm, and the gift shop has something for everyone. It truly feels like stepping back in time. Read moreOh my goodness! Ive been trying to remember a toy from my childhood, but i wasnt sure how to describe it or its name. A friend knee what it was and said check the 5 & dime store. So i go in and not only do they have THE exact toy, they have all kinds of toys and games and candy from my childhood. What an awesome shop and a delightful day for me. I totally recommend this place - the workers are super friendly - the lady knew just what i wanted and where it was - i will go back every time i come to bentonville in the future!!! Go...

Usually gift shops are overpriced, but Walmart did a great job selling these at normal prices and it was really just a fantastic experience. I would recommend this to anyone. I will say it was smaller than I would have liked and hope they expand in more years. Maybe they could charge $5 and make it better instead of it being free...
