My first time dealing with a problem concerning my hot water heater. Looked online and decided to call Reliable. I was told that it's $99.99 for the estimate, if Repairs or Replacement is needed that money would go towards that. So a man comes the next day, seemed nice enough but his accent was so heavy I became very concerned, I expressed that and said I was uncomfortable to continue. He seemed to ignore me or just dismiss what I said. He did manage to take my payment and said the tank has a leak and is under warranty, then he left. The way I felt reflecting on that visit, highway robbery, he got paid for doing nothing. The warranty company has asked that he call and just give a verbal description of what he saw. Just an everyday consumer, not a professional. Gave them my model number and asked help finding a part. Had confirmed the night before they had the part so didn’t think I had to bother checking the part number. Got all the way back to San Francisco and realized they gave me the wrong part. How can a consumer with no experience figure out the part and confirm the night before but they can’t even get it right??? To add insult to injury I’ve been on hold on the phone for over 20 minutes. Dryer belt snapped and I was referred there by ace hardware. Went in, right when I told them the brand, before i could even finish my sentence replied, "don't have it, never heard of it, did you check online?."

I did check online, but thought maybe shopping local was the best avenue.
