The Atmosphere was very open with all the windows. The bathroom was clean, one stall, also unisex (more bathrooms upstairs but I couldn’t find them). Cashiers were friendly, but the ordering system was a tad bit confusing. They brought out your food, but you had to pick up your coffee. Both my large coffee and cafe au lait had coffe grinds in them, and not just a few but about two scoops worth in both. I always look forward to my last few sips so this did quite kill me. Nothing special about the coffees they were kind of on the watery side. Egg sandwich with a croissant, was amazing until my last bite when I found a hair present. I brought it up to one of the cashiers just as a heads up not to get anything free, and she examined my plate like I was a liar, just to say “oh”. That was a little disheartening. Read moreYou would think that the Bay Area would have a plethora of options for gluten free donuts, and you would be wrong. When I stumbled in to Cafe W, I immediately scanned the bakery case for gf options... and found... a gluten free mochi donut! Actually, a few! Blueberry, chocolate, and I think mocha frosted.

I tried blueberry, next time I’m going for chocolate.
Relatively sparse cafe, looked like they’d have some awesome hot breakfast options. I could see myself getting some work done here another time, assuming they have WiFi (didn’t check).

Read moreThis morning, I picked up 4 jars of coffee for a professional meeting. The order was supposed to be ready at 8:30 a.m., but it was actually ready at 8:45 a.m. I didn't mind the 15-minute delay, but the woman in charge of our order was extremely disrespectful and rude. One of the cardboard coffee boxes was covered with coffee, so I asked her to replace it. She reluctantly did so. Throughout the interaction, she never smiled or used polite phrases like "hi," "thank you," or "please." My colleague, who was with me, was so shocked by her behavior that she told the employee her attitude was disrespectful. The employee did not respond or apologize. She kept her hoodie on her head the entire time. This will be the last time I...
