Do yourself a favor and skip this place. Plenty of better Thai and other food around. Service was the worst I’ve experienced in a while. The server forgot my order of 3 items and my request for hot sauce. When the runner brought out my food, she didn’t even look at me or listen to me trying to get her attention for hot sauce. I had to wait till another server came by and ask him (my server lost all interest in me after taking my order - wouldn’t even look my way). I got the curry puffs - they were cold on the inside and soggy, but tasted ok. The fried spareribs were dropped next and I asked my server for another drink, which he totally forgot about until 15 minutes later. Eating the fried spareribs was like trying to eat a salty boot (it made me think of the famous Charlie Chaplin scene). The fried chive cakes came next and they were fridge cold in the middle. I waited for almost 10 minutes for the server to come to me or even just look my way and finally had to get up and walk my dish to staff and tell them it was cold. It took another 10 minutes for them to bring me out that dish again only for it to be even COLDER in the middle than the first time and totally oily and yucky. Bad food, bad service. Will never set foot...
Read moreNot sure if they were short staffed, but my guest and I finally seated ourselves after waiting 10 min for a staff to appear and seat us. Then waited another 5 mins for menus until I asked for one. That's when she advised us to scan the table barcode to see the menu. (It was our 1st visit). The waitress was neither warm nor welcoming. Both main dishes were supposed to be mild, the penang was, the eggplant dish was bland. 2 dishes and 1 appetizer cost over $50 excluding the 15% tip I left. Little pricey for the service, plus a scoop of rice was included with the penang dish. Not included with the eggplant dish and it cost $3.50 for a scoop of rice...rice. Hard pass...
Read morePicked up my food and was almost headed back to mine when I decided to eat the spring rolls in my car, when I opened the box I could clearly see the shrimp had rotted, seafood food poisoning is a serious thing. I went back in to show them and they offered to re-make the rolls but I refused as there was no way to ensure the new rolls wouldn’t come in contact with the contaminated shrimp. Shame on the cook for not paying attention at all! If that’s how they would present my food I cannot imagine the lack of safety that is taken with the other food prepared in that kitchen. Will not be risking my health at this...
