I love the size of this place. I love that they always have staff on hand to help with troubled machines or lost coins. They have massage chairs, multiple chairs, vending machines, booths cafeteria style, and a children's section. Large 9 load washers and express dryers. 25ยข=8mins. My biggest gripe is that they have removed a whole wall of folding tables along the front windows and use it for stored drop off services. Additionally they have sectioned off a whole row (about 30 washers) for the Laundromat staff to wash the drop off service stuff.
I hate that the sidewalks all around the establishment are ridden with cracks that often catch the wheels of the cart, and if you're not super careful it's easy for the cart to tip over and there goes all your clean laundry is on the floor. If you use the front, the pavement slants towards the street, and the cart often rolls off the curb. Where as the back alley is riddled with giant cracks and potholes to navigate while trying not to let your clothes fall into the street. And unless you plan to carry your cart up the curb you'll have to walk to the end of the alley to catch the sidewalk incline.
I've been coming here for the last 10yrs, as they have been a pillar of the community, they pay for the fireworks show. Give donuts and coffee, they hold raffles, and...
ย ย ย Read moreAccused of stealing food and almost kicked out randomly. My family and I come once a week to do our laundry. We have a lot of laundry and we have two little ones (4 and 6 years old) that enjoy the pizza while my mother and I do our laundry. Today I we came to do laundry once again and as we entered we noticed someone leaving the store with what looked like store merchandise. We began doing laundry and I told an employee about the suspicious activity so that they could inform the owner. The owner reviewed the cameras and came to us while we were doing laundry and had the NERVE to randomly accuse my family and I of coming just for pizza, saying he was told that "we do this all the time" and that we don't do laundry. He assumed we didn't speak English and was extremely rude and condiscending even after we showed him we were currently doing nearly ten loads of laundry. Absolutely dispicable of him to treat loyal customers this way... I was kind enough to try and help the business by telling them about suspicious activity I witnessed and they had the audacity to attack me??? We will never return to this location and I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE DO THEIR LAUNDRY HERE UNLESS THEY WANT TO BE HUMILIATED, TALKED DOWN TO, AND ACCUSED OF COMING FOR...
ย ย ย Read moreWifey and I go to this place all the time with large loads from a family of five. We've really gotten to know the place over nearly a decade. My wife has been going since she was a kid. We've learned that the best time to go with a large load is in the middle of the night and that most of the washers around the east end front of the building don't seem to get enough water into the machine and that always makes a residue of leftover detergent on our clothes. We've always been reimbursed with free rinses from World Largest but it is inconvenient. I think my biggest complaint is that the drop off laundry often uses up entire large sections of the dryers and many times the clothes will sit inside the machines after a drying cycle. This causes a lot of tension when it comes to people waiting and sometimes arguing over which dryers are available. It would be more efficient for everybody if the drop off clothes were removed from the dryers by the employees as soon as the drying cycle is finished. Generally speaking the place is very well kept up and while it does get very crowded there's always enough space to move around. Overall this is definitely our preferred laundromat and we'll keep going for the...
